Editor's Summary
I recently picked up the Zitrek Green 12 063-4071 cordless drill, and it's been a total game changer for tackling DIY projects around the house. I snagged it for a steal, but I wasn't expecting much given the specs. However, this drill has surprised me in several ways. The compact design makes it a breeze to store, and the LED light on the work area is super helpful for seeing what I'm doing. But what really impressed me was the battery life – it lasts way longer than I expected. I've used it for a week now, and the build quality feels solid. It's a great value for the money, and I've been really happy with it, but there are a few things to keep in mind.
Specifications
Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well.
I've been meaning to get a drill for a while now, because my electric screwdriver just isn't up to the task for some jobs, like assembling furniture, although it does get the job done okay.
And just last week I came across this affordable cordless drill, the Zitrek Green 12 063-4071, at a price that was just too good to pass up.
The packaging is a bit cramped, to say the least, and not exactly the most impressive thing I've ever seen.
The drill itself is a bit of a squeeze inside the box.If you remove the battery, it's a bit more manageable, but even the manual is a bit taller than the box itself:
The drill, battery, charger, bit, and manual.I'm not expecting much from the specs, given the price, but let's take a look anyway.

One thing I noticed when I first got my hands on this drill is that it looks a bit different from the main product image. And, as you'll see, it's not exactly designed for belt carrying: Zitrek wants to 'tuck' the chuck down low.

The drill itself. The LED light is located between the chuck and the speed control switch, under the battery pack. The battery charging process is different from most devices: the adapter cord is inserted directly into the battery pack's receptacle:
The LED light turns red during charging and then switches to green. The adapter and battery are quite unique and might be hard to find separately from the drill:
The markings on the battery and adapter. Before buying the device, I watched a review video where the user drove over 200 (!) self-tapping screws into a board on a single charge.
Unfortunately, the manual is only in Russian:
A whopping 9 (!) pages with no English translation. The manual is detailed, with a warranty certificate and a link to the list of authorized service centers. However, some features really stood out to me, like the need to check the power cord's integrity (!) before using the tool , or that the tool's plug must match the electrical outlet.
Based on my first impressions, this is a decent device that suits my needs for now.
I've been using it for a few days now, and I'm quite pleased with its performance. The drill is lightweight and easy to handle, making it perfect for smaller tasks. The battery life is also impressive, lasting for several hours on a single charge.
One thing I would like to see improved is the packaging. As I mentioned earlier, it's a bit cramped, and the manual is not included in the box. However, the manual is available online, and the customer support team is responsive and helpful.
I would recommend this drill to anyone looking for a budget-friendly option that gets the job done. It's not the most powerful drill on the market, but it's perfect for smaller tasks and is easy to use.
