Power banks have become a lifesaver, and I'm really glad I got one! They're always there to help me out when my phone is running low. No more scrambling to find a charger or being tethered to a cord waiting for my phone to charge.
Now I just carry my power bank in my bag and I'm good to go, no matter what. It's a sanity-saver.
Today I'm going to share my experience with the Xiaomi Mi 10000 mAh power bank.
Xiaomi Mi 10000 mAh power bank
Price: $21
Where to buy: I got mine from Itbox, but you can also find it in online tech stores or regular shops.
I didn't hesitate to buy a power bank before a long trip - I knew it would be a lifesaver when I needed it. And now I couldn't imagine traveling without it!
I opted for the 10000 mAh version, which cost me around $21. Plus, I got a one-year warranty and excellent customer support, just in case.
About the device:
The second-gen Xiaomi Mi Powerbank has a 10000 mAh capacity and faster charging speeds. The classic design and minimalist style still impress me, and the lightweight build makes it perfect for work or travel.
Design. The power bank came in a sleek white box with all the necessary info. I've been storing it in the box, but I plan to get a case to make it look even cooler.

Inside the box, you'll find two compartments: one for the power bank and one for the cable. There are also two instruction manuals in different languages, explaining what each port is for.

The power bank itself is a dark grey, matte, cold, and heavy device. And that's not something I'm a fan of. It's really heavy, and if you put anything else in your bag, it'll weigh it down.
On one side, there are LED indicators that show the charging level of your device, and a button that lets you check how much charge is left. That's super convenient! During charging, the LEDs flash and show how much longer it'll take to fully charge. There are four of them. Occasionally, the charge level indicator for the power bank and the total charge level don't match - one might show one LED, while the other shows two, for example. But that's not a deal-breaker.

One thing that caught my attention is the two charging ports on this power bank. There's a smaller one for charging the power bank itself and a larger one for charging your phone from the power bank. I'm not a fan of the material used here - it leaves scratches and marks everywhere. If you don't get the cable in the port on the first try, you'll end up with a scratch. The design of this side isn't exactly pleasing to the eye either. I think the manufacturer could've added some kind of protective sticker to prevent scratches.

On the other hand, there's the device information:

The included cable is white, thick, and sturdy. It's used for charging your phone and has a thin side that fits into the phone's charging port and a thicker side that goes into the power bank.

As soon as you connect your phone to the power bank, the charging light turns on - just like with a regular phone charger.

How to charge a power bank? You'll need to use a phone charger.

How long does the power bank take to charge? Almost the whole night. That's to fully charge it – until the fourth LED light is stable. But I rarely let the device drain completely and put it on charge when the first or second LED light is on.
How long does a 10,000 mAh charge last? My phone's battery capacity is 2070 mAh. So, the power bank's capacity should last almost five full charges. However, you need to consider that 10,000 mAh is the maximum rating. In reality, the actual capacity of the external battery is around 8,000 mAh.
I always keep an eye on my phone's battery level, so it's hard for me to answer how long a full charge takes. On average, I put my phone on charge when it's around 20% battery left. Under these conditions, a full charge of the power bank lasts for about 5-7 times.
I think that's all I wanted to share. I highly recommend this power bank! It's a convenient device that always comes to the rescue when my phone's battery runs out.
I'd give it a 4 instead of 5 due to the scratches that appear. The manufacturer could've included a protective film. For me, the device's appearance is really important! And the weight is a concern – the power bank is quite heavy.

Thanks for reading! 🙂
After using the UltraPro 5000 for a solid week, I'm still blown away by its value for money. For the price, you'd expect some corners to be cut, but this thing is a beast. The shipping was a breeze, and I was up and running in no time. I've gotta say, the build quality is top-notch – it feels like a premium product in your hands. The buttons are tactile, the screen is responsive, and the whole thing just feels... solid. I've been using it non-stop, and the battery life has been a real surprise. I was expecting to need to recharge it every day, but it's been lasting me two days easy. I've been putting it through its paces, and so far, I'm thoroughly impressed. The customer support has been great too – I had a question about the return policy, and they got back to me within the hour. All in all, I'd highly recommend the UltraPro 5000 to anyone looking for a reliable, feature-packed device without breaking the bank.
