A Surprising Vacuum That's Proved Its Worth

I'll admit, I'm a big fan of Yandex, but like any company, they're not perfect. Still, I love that they're always evolving and improving. When I stumbled upon this Tuvio vacuum on Yandex Market for 4,600 rubles, I thought it was a pretty sweet deal.

After checking out other online stores, I realized the price was actually pretty reasonable compared to Ozon and WB, which were offering it for around 8,000 rubles at the time. Now most places are selling it for around 7,000 rubles.

I have to admit, when I first saw this vacuum, I was a bit skeptical. I wasn't sure how it worked, and I thought it might be some kind of vertical vacuum cleaner. I even checked out a similar model at my neighbor's house, but it was a different brand. I read some reviews, but I was still a bit confused.

It turned out that this Tuvio vacuum is actually a pretty simple device - it's essentially a hot cloth that's not very good at picking up large debris. But I learned all about its quirks and features after using it for a while.

I'm not even sure how I decided to buy it, to be honest. Maybe it was the price, which was a steal at 4,600 rubles. Or maybe it was just a gut feeling. Either way, I'm glad I took the plunge.

When I started looking at the vacuum on the store's website, a colleague of mine saw it and said, 'This thing is awesome!' He's got the same model at home, and he's really happy with it. He even told me that he bought it three months ago for 6,500 rubles. That just made me even more excited to try it out.

When I finally got it home and started unpacking, I was a bit overwhelmed by all the attachments and tubes. To be honest, most of it was a bit confusing at first.

Now, let's talk about its benefits.

Until yesterday, I mostly used it for disinfecting the floor, since my family tends to track in dirt and dust from outside. It's always stationed near the kitchen and entrance hall.

My first experience with assembling it was a bit daunting, to be honest. I thought something was missing or that the parts were faulty. But it turned out that it was just a matter of figuring out how to put everything together.

I was worried at first, but that was just initial fears and getting used to it.

Now, I'm using it with ease and no hesitation.

And just yesterday, I used it to iron a 10-meter long tulle curtain! It's 3 meters high, and the tulle itself is 2.8 meters.

I wash it, and then I hang it on the curtain rod to dry. After wringing it out, it's a bit crumpled, of course.

I remembered that there's a handheld steamer and a nozzle - apparently, it's used for cleaning glasses.

However, it did take a bit of figuring out how to use the handheld steamer at first. Luckily, the user manual came to my rescue.

I decided to give it a try, and guess what? It worked like a charm! The vertical steaming was a breeze. Although, I did have to refill the reservoir three times.

Okay, okay, I confess - I was feeling pretty lazy and didn't iron it properly. It was 2 am, after all!

Then, I tried steaming the grout lines on my tile floor. There's a pretty cool nozzle for that. Again, the results were impressive.

I'm really happy with this product.

I want to try cleaning my oven and windows next. The reviews are pretty positive.

And yeah, if you're looking to clean hardwood floors, this isn't the tool for you. It's better suited for dust and bacteria, rather than heavy-duty cleaning. I did enjoy using it on my laminate floors, though - it made a big difference.

I also used it on my kitchen's linoleum floor, which has a complex texture. The results were great.
