The Humidity Slayer: My Go-To Solution for a Comfortable Home
I've been dealing with high humidity issues in my apartment for a while now, and it's been a real headache. To be honest, I never thought I'd be worried about moisture in my place, but this year it's been a different story. I started thinking about getting a dehumidifier, and I didn't hesitate when I came across the SMART Dehumidifier RX02-B.
I had to order it online from Valberis since I couldn't find it in the stores in my small town. It cost me 4128 rubles at the time of purchase.

It's quiet, energy-efficient, and blends seamlessly into your home's interior. Thanks to advanced technology, it maintains a stable air quality by regulating humidity levels. One thing that really stood out to me about this dehumidifier is its design. And of course, the features that come with it are a big plus.
It really does look great and fits in with any interior style.
The dehumidifier arrived well-packaged, so it was in perfect condition. The box itself is just a standard cardboard box.
There's not a lot of information on the box, but the essentials are there.
The dehumidifier itself looks really sleek and stylish. I actually thought I'd ordered it in black, but it came in silver instead. I guess they just send out random colors, and I wasn't even considering silver when I made my choice. Oh well, I won't be nitpicking about it.
The design is modern, sleek, and minimalist, and the touch display fits in perfectly with the overall aesthetic.
And beyond just looking good, I was really impressed with the build quality of this dehumidifier. The design may be simple, but it feels solid and well-made. The plastic casing is sturdy and durable.
I was blown away by how sensitive and intuitive the control panel is. As someone who's not exactly tech-savvy, I picked it up in no time without even cracking open the manual.
Of course, the manual is pretty straightforward, and they even threw in some helpful images.
Initially, the control panel was covered in protective film from top to bottom.
Okay, let's dive into the functionality of this dehumidifier. I think that's the most important part. First off, I wanted to mention the cord length - it's not super long. So, you'll want to think ahead about where you'll put it and whether it'll reach a power outlet. Luckily, I had enough length, but it was basically a fluke. Having a bit more cord length wouldn't have hurt.
The dehumidifier came with this air filter.
You'll need to insert this filter into a special compartment in the air intake, which is located at the back of the device. At first, I thought it was a spare, but nope - it's the only one.
It's a decently sized container, to be honest.
The container's easy to pull out, and I've never had to put in much effort to do so. For me, that's a plus, since I'll need to check the water level regularly. I checked it quite often at first, but after a while, I realized I didn't need to do it that frequently - about once a week was sufficient.
The manufacturer claims this thing can absorb up to 750 ml of water a day, but I'm guessing that's under extreme humidity conditions. In my experience, it collects a lot less water - more like a cupful a week.
I'm not sure if it's a lot or a little, but I think it all depends on the humidity level in the apartment. But the fact that it collects moisture and the air doesn't become dry (you can feel it) is already a plus.
I'd also like to mention the dehumidifier's power, which is 90 watts. I think that's enough for a space up to 60 square meters (that's the space the manufacturer specified in the description). My three-room apartment is a bit bigger than 60 square meters, so in theory, the dehumidifier should handle it with ease.
And it does! At least, the water in the reservoir is collecting steadily! Check it out for yourself – see how much water has accumulated:
The one feature I'd like to mention is the night mode! It's activated with a simple click on the 'Moon' button, and the dehumidifier starts running much quieter. It's not super quiet to begin with, but in night mode, it's almost inaudible. I don't even notice it when I'm sleeping, and it's right in the corridor, not far from my bedroom.
Control-wise, the management is super intuitive. All the settings are on buttons, and turning it on or off is a breeze with a simple press.
One feature I really appreciate is the automatic shut-off. It kicks in when the water container is full – which, to be honest, has never happened to me, since I'm pretty diligent about emptying it regularly.
Draining the water is a piece of cake – just pull out the container and pour it out. But, as a nice touch, the manufacturer includes a hose for easier drainage. It's super convenient when you've got a nearby container to pour into. Mine's currently placed in the middle of my flat, so it can spread the air-drying magic evenly across the space.
Another nifty feature is the LED lighting. It's got multiple colors – really pretty ones, if I do say so myself – and you can choose the one you like best. I went with blue, but you can turn it off if that's not your thing.
When I took the photos, the color effect wasn't super noticeable, but it'll be a nice feature in the evenings or at night.

I'm happy to report that the dehumidifier hasn't given me any issues throughout my usage. It's doing its job perfectly, and I've noticed a decrease in humidity levels in my place. Of course, it's collecting water consistently, which is great. However, I don't feel like the air has become super dry – it's just right.
That being said, the manual does mention that if the humidity level drops to 40%, the dehumidifier will automatically stop working (although the fan will keep running). But if it hits 55%, it'll go back to its normal mode. Interestingly, I've never seen the humidity level dip below 40% during my time with this device.
So here's the deal.
Considering the dehumidifier's price of 4128 rubles, I think it's a fantastic purchase. I'm so glad I made the investment – I wouldn't change a thing.
After using this device for a while, I'm really satisfied with how it's performed. It's doing everything it's supposed to, and I don't need anything more. That's why I'd give the SMART Dehumidifier RX02-B a well-deserved 5-star rating, and I'm confident in my decision.
I highly recommend it, especially for those struggling with high humidity levels in their apartments or homes. This device has been one of my top purchases in recent times.
From me, 5 stars and a thumbs-up for the purchase!
