A Festive Addition to My Kitchen: The O'Kitchen Christmas Tree-Shaped Bottle

New year's decorations and dishes are a must-have for me during the holiday season. I always head to Fix Price stores for these kinds of purchases. Sometimes, I don't find what I'm looking for in a specific store, so I check the app for nearby locations and availability.

I'm excited to share my thoughts on this O'Kitchen glass bottle from Fix Price. I'd been eyeing it for a while, watching video reviews and browsing stores. But when I finally decided to buy, it was nowhere to be found. Luckily, I managed to find one in a store in Zhukovsky.

Originally, I was planning to buy the transparent version, but when I saw the emerald green one in person, I knew I had to have it. These bottles come in just three colors: transparent, emerald green, and a bottle glass color (which, to be honest, didn't appeal to me as much).

Before making the purchase, I had a rough idea of how I'd be using this bottle. Of course, it's perfect for the holiday season. I plan to display it on open surfaces during the new year's celebrations and then store it in a closet when the decorations are no longer relevant.

I bought this jar for personal use, but I can say it would also make a great gift. The box looks presentable, with images of the jar on each side, as well as one image showing an example of use and a black-and-white diagram of the open and closed jar.

The jar was inside the box wrapped in foam plastic, which protected it from damage during transport. The base and lid were wrapped in separate plastics.

Despite the small volume of this jar, 1.1 liters, it's quite spacious. The jar's mouth allows you to put large candies and sweets inside. By the way, when buying this jar as a gift, you can fill it with candies and present it that way.

This jar is made of relatively thin glass, but it can still withstand both low and high temperatures. After all, it's borosilicate glass, which is used to make many electric kettles sold at Fix Price stores. I have a few of those, so I'm confident in saying that the glass is heat-resistant. The only thing that's unclear is why the manufacturer listed the temperature ranges for use on the box, as you wouldn't need to use the jar at extreme temperatures. I think this information is intended for people who plan to wash the jar in a dishwasher. In fact, washing it in a dishwasher is much easier than doing it by hand, as it's hard to get your hand inside with a sponge.

This glass jar in the shape of a Christmas tree, filled with candies, looks great on the table. The jar's design is original, and the manufacturer thought of everything, down to the smallest details. The jar's base represents the tree's trunk, while the lid and base are the tree's crown.

This little Christmas tree is a great table decoration, especially since it's transparent so you can see what's inside. I think it looks way more elegant than just a vase with candies. Honestly, I think this jar can be used for more than just candies - you can store sugar packs, coffee capsules, and other small household items that aren't food-related. The possibilities are endless. What's really cool is that this jar looks amazing in my kitchen's glass cabinet, no matter what's inside it. It's a beautiful decoration for the shelf.

I also think this jar looks amazing when you add a small battery-operated string of lights inside. You can fill it with candies and place it under the Christmas tree with the lights, or just use the lights as a standalone decoration to create a festive atmosphere.

This storage jar is a great prop for photography - it looks amazing in the frame thanks to its emerald green color, which really pops in natural light.

This Christmas tree storage jar does require some TLC. After washing it, I immediately wipe it down with a microfiber cloth to get rid of any water spots. If they dry and leave residue on the glass surface, it looks pretty ugly. Same goes for dust that accumulates on the jar if it's placed on an open surface - it's a good idea to wipe it down regularly. That's pretty much the extent of the maintenance - no other issues arise.

This Christmas tree totally hits the mark for me in terms of its looks, build quality, and the fact that I can use it to stash all sorts of things. The glass lid keeps dust and weird smells out, and my hand can fit inside easily, making it a breeze to grab what I need.
