I've got only two holidays in life - New Year and every day.
So, if I need to look fresh and happy, I don't wait for a special moment. On the contrary, those moments come when happiness arrives on the field of prepared spirit.
After using this kanekalon for three months, I can confidently say: it's a game-changer!
I didn't think I'd feel so comfortable with synthetic hair, which, by the way, costs around 150 rubles per pack.
It weighs 50g, and there's a lot of material in it. This is true for both people with fine, non-voluminous hair and kids, as well as those with thick, curly hair. Either way, you're unlikely to use up the whole pack at once. A clump will look bulky or amplify your natural volume to absurd levels. Thankfully, the seller has generously left us with material for a lifetime. Order one piece of the desired color - don't be afraid.
By the way, the color palette is now diverse, and everyone will find something to match their personal tone. There are non-graded shades. There are strict colors, similar to real ones (chestnut, black, blonde), and in 'Fix' I often see neon, twisted tightly. It looks cheap. But I'm buying a Chinese product. I rate the quality as '5', with details below. The seller was very honest. He sent everything quickly. It was clean, in a sealed package. There were a lot of graded shades in the card.
My kanekalon HengMei was originally about 60 cm long, but I kept cutting the ends. You can cut it to any length. This is very convenient. And at this price, it's easy to re-order some more if you change your mind.
This hair clips on with hairpins or secures with rubber bands. I recommend these hairpins (rubber bands for hair) at a good price, as they come in the right amount, and the colors are basic.
The kanekalon HengMei comes off at night, but the texture is actually soft,
you just need to untangle it.
Wear it every week or once in five years - nothing will happen with the synthetic hair. It's not someone's hair. It's artificial hair.
My only concern is to keep it away from direct sunlight when I'm not wearing it, so it stays visually appealing for longer.Material comes in a ridiculously shiny and blinding packaging,
I was a bit skeptical about the packaging, but the transparent bag was sealed tightly.
The contents were braided into a thick, but not too tight, braid that withstood the shipping and the shape. There's a rubber band at the top, just like you'd use for money. I was planning to use it, but now I'm thinking it's not for my hair...
Still, it's a bit of an execution – using rubber bands in your hair like that.
But as soon as I touched the braid, I fell in love. The softest, silkiest, smoothest, and most gentle hair to the touch! Of course, the wind had its way with it later, and now it's not as slippery in my hand. At first, the braid would just fall out of my hand, streaming down. Now that my hair's been weathered, it doesn't scratch my back and hands, but it's always slightly tickling on my skin. And I've been washing it regularly without shampoo. Although, I think they recommend doing it less often.
The best way to store it was to hang the strands on a clothes hanger, grouping them with small rubber bands.
Once you've done it once, it's a breeze to just take off and put on the right amount of strands.
There are plenty of life hacks online about how to properly divide the original braid, taking it from the middle length (luckily, that spot's already marked as the top of the braid and secured with a rubber band). But it looked like the synthetic hair would just come apart and reorganize itself into strands easily.
Ha! Not quite.
My HengMei kanekalon was super dense: there were tons of synthetic hairs, and as soon as it lost its shape, they started tangling with each other.
So, here's the result.
But that's just from inexperience and rushing,I'm still super happy with the remaining amount. And the tangles are just a handmade thing.
The kanekalon has everything you need to make different hairstyles: ponytails, braids, and even wearing it loose. Yes, after every walk outside, my hair gets all matted into tiny knots, and there's always something coming loose from the ends, but that's just a minor thing! Nobody's going to notice, and everyone sees the color! Changing up my looks, enjoying my old outfits with a new hairstyle – it's an unbeatable feeling! And it's so easy on my head, nothing's pulling it down.
At first, it took me around 7-10-20 minutes to get the hang of securing the kanekalon, so I always planned my outings with a buffer. Now, styling my hair takes just a couple of minutes, unless I'm going for a super intricate updo. If you want to get fancy, you can find loads of YouTube tutorials that'll prep you for any occasion.
The synthetic hair bundle is meant for braiding, but honestly, I can rock a big, bouncy look with or without braids. Check out how this gorgeous, ombre-inspired color complements my blue eyes!
And here I am at the carpet exhibition. You can see I'm looking pretty great, even if I am a bit tired.
I wish everyone could try something new that brings them peace, calmness, and inner serenity. Until next time, stay fabulous!
