Editor's Summary
I've got my hands on the new Faberlic Loofah with Soap 'Grushovoe Parfe' Beauty Cafe, and I'm sharing my honest take on it. I've bought these loofahs with soap before, not because I'm a huge fan, but because they're just so convenient. My daughter loves them, but I've always found that they dry out my skin and the loofah itself could be more effective at exfoliating. This new one's got a unique shape that makes it easy to hold and maneuver in the shower, and the soap bits are just the right size. It's compact, comes with a nice scent, and is a great value for the price. But, it's still not perfect - it can be hard to get the soap out, and it's not the most eco-friendly option. Overall, it's a decent choice if you're looking for a convenient all-in-one option, but it's not a game-changer.

My Take on the Soap Dispenser with a Twist
I'll be the first to admit that I'm a bit torn about Faberlic's loofahs with soap. On one hand, my skin dries out when I use them, and the loofah itself isn't super effective. On the other hand, my daughter loves these kinds of bathing accessories, and they seem to work better for her.
So, I've ended up buying four of these loofahs in the past year. It's not because I'm a huge fan of them myself, but because my daughter loves them, and it's just easier to grab a loofah with soap already on it rather than having to apply it separately.
I managed to get my hands on this new product, the Faberlic Loofah with Soap 'Grushovoe Parfe' Beauty Cafe, before it was officially released in the catalog. So, I've already put it to the test.
The product code is 910539.
The price listed in the catalog is a bit steep - 329 rubles. I'm sure it'll be cheaper when it's sold individually, but I guess you pay for the novelty.
The loofah itself is 14 cm long.
The soap bits weigh 22.4 grams (7 pieces, each weighing 3.2 grams).
This product was made in Turkey.
Packaging
The loofah with soap came in a transparent, crinkly package with a zipper closure.
I can take the loofah out of the package if I need to, but it's usually just hanging on a hook in my bathroom, next to its colorful friends.
The packaging is convenient for travel or home use, and it's easy to take the loofah out when you need to.
The Loofah Itself
The loofah itself has a familiar, rounded shape, formed by a squished mesh.
The loop of satin ribbon is attached securely, so it doesn't come undone.
The color of the loofah isn't my favorite, but it's definitely eye-catching. You can see two shades of green.
The Soap Pieces
The soap pieces inside the puff are nice and round, a vibrant green color.
I found that the puffed soap gives a good lather, and the key is to spread it evenly.
It took me a bit longer to spread the soap this time compared to previous versions.
But the foam is white, fluffy, airy, and fragrant.
The scent is a sweet but not overpowering fruit-grape smell. The manufacturer describes the fragrance as:
Sweet grape aroma with a soft and enveloping milk noteI have to say, I quite like it.

Faberlic's Promises
Faberlic Puff with Soap Pieces “Grushy Perfume” is a convenient option for travel or home use. It’s designed for 10-15 uses, depending on the duration and water temperature. And when the soap pieces run out, you can continue using the puff with your regular shower gel.

But What Does It Really Deliver?
This travel-friendly option is indeed convenient. If you don’t have a shower puff or soap at your destination, then carrying this little package makes sense.
The puffs do last for 10-15 uses, sometimes a bit longer. What annoys me, as a perfectionist, are the tiny remnants that don’t really clean and don’t disappear completely. Sometimes I’ll even pick them out.
This format is convenient, but it has some downsides.
This puff strips my skin of its natural moisture, so it’s a good idea to apply moisturizing products after using it.The puff doesn’t clean my skin as effectively as a regular shower puff or loofah. That’s why I don’t particularly like this format. However, my kids love this format. They can choose their favorite color and scent from the options available, and it's pretty easy to just spritz the loofah in your hands, then rinse it under running water and hang it up on a hook. Minimal effort required.
In contrast to my skin, my kid's skin doesn't dry out after using this soap, so I'm happy to buy up all the variants available from the company. I can tell I'll be switching to other brands eventually.
The Final Verdict
I'm giving the Faberlic loofah with 'Apple Parfait' Beauty Cafe soap bits a rating of 4, and I'd definitely recommend it to people with relatively normal skin.
