When I Finally Had Enough: My Evtory Nightmare

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've had it with the Evtory 7.2 - it's been a total disaster. I've dealt with more issues than any other model, and my colleagues who've bought it are just as fed up. The lack of support and hassle of dealing with customer service have been a nightmare. I'm begging Evtory to take a hard look at the real problems people are facing. I've had this thing for a while now, and it's been a constant source of frustration. The problems are real, and Evtory needs to step up their game.

I'm not one to complain, but my patience has worn thin. Every year, I've been hearing the same excuses about how they're trying to improve and enhance their functionality, but it's just a bunch of empty promises. To be honest, when I first heard about the term 'cheap knockoffs' in relation to Evtory, I thought it was a fitting description.
But that's not what I want to talk about today. I'm here to share my experience with the Evtory 7.2, which has been a total disaster. I've had to deal with more issues with this thing than I have with any other model, including the latest one. And I'm not the only one - all my colleagues who've bought this thing have been cursing it out every day. We've all been frustrated with the lack of support and the hassle of dealing with customer service.
When we tried to get rid of it, they tried to sell us on the Evtory Power, but let me tell you, I didn't need to experience its bulkiness to know I'd hate it. I'm begging the engineers and developers at Evtory to take a hard look at the real problems people are facing, not just the scripted responses they've got online. We wouldn't be dealing with these cash registers if we could just get a refund or pawn them off on someone else, but nobody deserves this kind of treatment.
It's time for Evtory to step up their game and deliver on their promises. Until then, I'd advise anyone considering buying their products to think twice. The value for money just isn't there, and the shipping and return policies are a nightmare. I'm still trying to figure out how to get a decent refund, and it's been a week since I returned the thing.

live_helpFeatured FAQ

What's the biggest problem with the Evtory 7.2?

In my experience, the biggest problem is the lack of support and hassle of dealing with customer service. It's been a total nightmare trying to get help when I need it.

Is the Evtory 7.2 a good value for money?

Honestly, it's not the worst value for money, but it's definitely not the best either. You get what you pay for, and in this case, it's a mediocre product with a bunch of issues.

How long does the battery last?

The battery life's decent, but it's not as long as I expected. I've had to charge it more often than I'd like, and it takes forever to do so.

What's the build quality like?

The build quality's not terrible, but it's not exactly solid either. The buttons feel okay, but they're not as responsive as I'd like.

Has anyone else had problems with the Evtory 7.2?

Yeah, my colleagues who've bought it are just as fed up as I am. We've all been dealing with the same issues and frustrations.

Can I return the Evtory 7.2 if I'm not satisfied?

I'm not sure, but I've had a hard time getting a straight answer from customer service. Be prepared to jump through hoops if you need to return it.

Is the Evtory Power any better?

No way – I've heard it's even bulkier than the 7.2. I don't need to experience it to know I'd hate it.

What's the deal with the customer service?

It's been a total nightmare dealing with customer service. They seem to be scripted and clueless, and it takes forever to get help when you need it.

How do I contact Evtory customer service?

I'd recommend avoiding them if possible. If you do need to contact them, be prepared to wait on hold for a long time and deal with reps who seem clueless.
