Editor's Summary
I've been using the Apple AirPods 2 for over a year now, and while they're super stylish, I've got to say they're not the most comfortable earbuds I've ever used. The design is sleek, and I love the compact size - it's perfect for tossing them in my pocket or bag. However, the sound quality is where things get a bit tricky. The audio can be a bit tinny at times, and the lack of sound isolation is a major letdown. But hey, the battery life is surprisingly good, and I've been getting around 4 hours of playtime on a single charge. All in all, I'd say the AirPods 2 are a solid choice for anyone looking for a stylish and easy-to-use earbuds, but don't expect them to be the most comfortable or sound the best. One thing to note is that they're super easy to use, and pairing with my iPhone is a breeze. Plus, they're really stylish and look great with my other Apple devices. But, if you're looking for earbuds with great sound quality and comfort, you might want to keep looking.

Apple AirPods 2 Review: A Stylish but Uncomfortable Pair
Hello everyone!
I'm back to talking about gadgets and accessories after a really long time!
Today, I'm excited to share my thoughts on Apple's AirPods, a product I've been using for over a year now.
I've been using these earbuds pretty sparingly, but that's because I've been putting them through their paces!
So, let's start with where I bought them and how much they cost.
I picked them up from an Apple store in my city for 11,900 rubles.
Here's a quick rundown:
Manufactured in ChinaBrand - AppleModel - AirPods 2Connection - WirelessBluetoothColor - WhiteControl type - Touch-sensitiveMicrophone support - YesDesign - EarbudsProduct specs:

PlasticProduct description from the seller:
I've been using these wireless earbuds with sensor controls, and I have to say, they've revolutionized my music-listening experience. Pairing them with my phone or other device via Bluetooth 5.0 is a breeze, and I get crystal-clear sound quality every time.
The True Wireless Stereo tech is a game-changer – I can move around freely without any tangles or cords getting in the way. It's amazing to be able to switch tracks or take calls with just a few taps on the earbuds.
The sound quality is seriously impressive – the dynamic drivers deliver a rich, immersive audio experience that's perfect for any situation. The sensor controls are super intuitive – just tap, swipe, or pinch to control your music, take calls, or activate your voice assistant.Design and packaging
I was a bit surprised to find the cardboard packaging wrapped in a plastic bag when I opened the box!
After carefully inspecting the contents, I didn't find any defects. The product matched the description and images.
Inside the box, I found the earbuds themselves, a charging cable, and a user manual – everything I needed to get started!
The manual has all the necessary information on using the accessory!
The description is in Chinese, so if you want to, you can easily translate it using your phone and the internet)
And finally, here are the earbuds!
The case on the outside is wrapped in a special plastic sheet.
The charging port is located at the bottom of the case.
On the front of the housing, there's a small button. This button checks the case's charge level!
Inside, you'll find two earbuds, also done in a sleek white finish!
Each earbud is essentially a tiny plastic insert!
On the outside, you'll find special holes – those are the drivers and microphones!
There's also the necessary right and left earbud markings to avoid confusion!
The convex part of the earbud has these invisible sensors that let you control playback, voice commands, and calls and the like.
After taking a closer look, I didn't find any major flaws!
Design
The earbuds have a minimalist design. The white tone gives them a sleek, elegant look.
I wouldn't say they stand out from the crowd in any way – it's a pretty straightforward, modern concept for earbuds. But hey, it works! The case, packaging, and everything inside looks great!
They look super stylish in my ears, thanks to their sleek design!
I really like the way they look – it's a great design!
Sound and playback
The sound quality is decent, but you can tweak it to your liking with the mixer settings. However, the lack of proper noise isolation really lets it down.
When you're listening to music, you want to be fully immersed in the sound. You want to block out external noise that can ruin the experience!
When I listen to music with these earbuds, it sounds flat and muffled – there's just not enough depth. My other earbuds don't have this problem, so I can compare and say – not the best option!
Performance and efficiency
One thing that's impressed me about these headphones is how well they hold a charge. They last for several hours of continuous playback without any issues.
The case is also great at holding a charge, and it's got a decent-sized battery too. Pairing the headphones with my device was a breeze – I didn't encounter any problems.
Both the headphones and the case charge quickly, so I haven't noticed any issues in that regard.
The downsides of this model
What didn't quite click with me about this design is the shape itself. Specifically, I wasn't a fan of the lack of silicone tips. It's just bare plastic that ends up being excruciatingly painful for my earlobes. I can only stand wearing them for about 30 minutes at a time. After listening to music for an extended period, I stopped using them altogether – my ears were throbbing in pain for the rest of the day!
I'm not sure if it's just my specific ear shape, but I've had issues with headphones that don't have additional ear tips. Here, the problem is that the headphones are pressing and digging into my earlobes, which is no good. To be honest, the tactile experience is extremely uncomfortable and painful for me (((
Another thing that didn't quite sit right with me was how sensitive the sensors are. Every time I try to adjust the earbuds, I inevitably tap the sensor and my iPhone instantly activates voice commands. That can be a real pain when my phone's in my pocket or bag and I have to keep pulling it out to turn off the feature. Plus, I have voice commands disabled, so it's a bit of a hassle. It's a small thing, but it can really put a damper on your mood.
Moving on to the mic, I'll say this: it works! I can take calls with the earbuds on and the person on the other end sounds crystal clear. However, when I'm on the street, it's a whole different story – it's basically just background noise. I even let my partner try them out and take a call, just to see how the mic would perform. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed.
Lastly, what really bugged me was the lack of volume control on the earbuds. That would've been a game-changer for me.
My take on the purchase
Design-wise, I've got no complaints. It's stylish and looks great!
They look pretty cool paired with sunglasses or hats, but that's just aesthetics. It's not always about how they look.
I really like the brand, their ideas, and concepts, but unfortunately, these headphones aren't my favorites. I'll be honest, I've stopped using them altogether!
It's like wearing super stylish but super uncomfortable shoes – you're in pain and can't wait to take them off, but you don't feel anything else. That's exactly how I feel when I look at and use these headphones.
I've made up my mind – I don't want them. I'll stick with my trusty, albeit not fashionable, but super comfortable pair.
I would recommend the Apple Airpods 2 if you don't mind the bare plastic and you're a die-hard fan of Apple products.
It's worth trying them out before buying, considering they're not cheap!
They have good functionality, hold their charge well, and look great, but on the other hand, they're super uncomfortable to wear and have terrible sound isolation!
I have to say, these headphones have both the good and the bad, and it's up to you to decide if they're worth the investment! To be honest, I regret buying them after a year. They're not cheap, and the effect is pretty underwhelming!
I'd give this product a three out of five. They're not terrible, but there's definitely room for improvement. Maybe other models will do a better job than this one!
That's all for now. I hope you found my review helpful! Good luck with your purchases.
