I'm a bit of a digital wallet skeptic, but I do use them to receive my earnings from iRerommend.
After Qiwi removed the Sberbank transfer feature, I had to find an alternative for withdrawing my salary with minimal losses - that's how I discovered the YuMoney wallet.
YuMoney wallet reviewBackground - not necessary to read, but I'll share it anyway. As an iPhone user, I don't have the YuMoney app available on the App Store. I've tried to access it, but it's not there. I've also checked the web version, but Sberbank transfer is not available there either.
I've been getting advice from people saying, 'Why do you need Sberbank transfer?' and suggesting I use YuMoney to pay for purchases, phone bills, or internet services. But I want to manage my finances my way, without having to adapt to their system.
Frankly, I was infuriated by the fact that Sberbank transfer is only available in the app. Why not in the web version? Why do other banks treat their customers differently, allowing them to access all services from anywhere? Why is YuMoney being so tricky, forcing people to do what's not convenient for them?
Okay, let's move on from the rant and focus on the solution. I started looking for a way to withdraw my funds without losing anything.
Registering with YuMoney:
To start, I registered with YuMoney. The process is straightforward, and I've documented each step to share with you.

Open your Yandex Wallet, reviews When I signed up for my Yandex Wallet, I used the phone number connected to my mobile bank. Maybe that's not necessary, and you can use the same number for everything, but I have a separate number linked to my cards that no one knows.
Yandex Wallet reviews Statuses of the Yandex Wallet:
After registering the electronic wallet, it's assigned a number and an Anonymous status.
There are three statuses in total:
Anonymous Named Identified Statuses of Yandex, reviews Anonymous - you get a basic set of features, but if you just plan to top up your phone with small amounts, it's enough.
Anonymous status of Yandex, reviews Named - you get a more advanced set of features, but the Sberbank transfer is not available at this level.
Named status of Yandex, reviews Identified - the highest and most advanced status, where you get access to the maximum number of services, including Sberbank transfer.
Identified YooMoney status, reviews However, it requires providing personal data, like a passport and tax ID. Many people get hung up on security concerns, but that's a philosophical and endless debate... each person decides for themselves. I decided to identify my YooMoney wallet because I desperately need Sberbank's payment system to transfer money to other banks. YooMoney wallet identification:
You can identify your wallet in several ways. I've put together a collage of all the methods. Some of them are paid or require extra time. The simplest, fastest, and free option is Sberbank online on your phone.
YooMoney identification, methods, through SBER, reviews Verifying your data takes only a couple of minutes. Your wallet gets the maximum identified status. Withdrawing money from YooMoney through Sberbank payment system without an app, reviews
Withdrawing funds through Sberbank payment system without an app in the web version of YooMoney - step-by-step guide:I'll remind you that there's no YooMoney app on your phone, but I really want to withdraw money without a commission. I'm not giving up and looking for other ways.
Earlier, I wrote a very detailed review on Sberbank payment system, where I mentioned the possibility of requesting money from other banks through Sberbank payment system - and that's our salvation. But to do this, you need to connect the function of withdrawing funds from your YooMoney wallet without verification.
I made sure to create a detailed guide to help you easily set up everything in your wallet. Check out the screenshots, and I've highlighted exactly what and where to tap.

Withdrawal via Sberbank without APP in Yoomoney web version - step-by-step guide, reviews I have a few cards, but I plan to request money on Sber, as they have the request function available, and it doesn't require any additional connections or settings.
It's as simple as tapping the Sber icon and requesting funds from your Yoomoney wallet to your card, specifying your phone number and amount. I've taken screenshots of all the necessary steps in the Sber app.
Yoomoney reviews Funds via Sberbank, as expected, arrive instantly. You'll receive a notification from Sber and Yoomoney simultaneously (one for the withdrawal, the other for the deposit).
Sberbank transfer via Sber, instruction, reviewsLimit:
The daily withdrawal limit for requesting funds, just like for regular Sberbank transfers, is 3,500 RUB. However, it's not restricted to a 24-hour time frame. You can request funds at 23:59 and 00:01, and the system will process it within 5 minutes, allowing you to withdraw up to 7,000 RUB.
My verdict:I'm not a fan of the way YooMoney handles card payments. When you open the wallet, a vertical card pops up, which is great for online shopping without commission or cashback. However, I don't use this feature since I have other cards with perks I've grown accustomed to.
I also don't make payments through YooMoney because I've set up autopay for my phone bill, internet, and utilities with other banks, and I see no reason to change that.
I'm worried that YooMoney might limit its functionality like Qiwi did. Unfortunately, I don't trust them 100%, so I use them as a transit for quick transfers without storing funds.
The bottom line:
As I mentioned earlier, I'm not happy about the limitations on accessing wallet functionality in the web version, which means you can only perform a maximum number of operations in the app. And to make matters worse, the app is currently unavailable for download/installation due to reasons beyond my control. It's unacceptable that YooMoney is restricting customer access like this. I know several seniors who don't have smartphones and can't fully use their YooMoney wallet. No bank should discriminate against its customers like this. My rating is ⭐️, and I wouldn't have used it if I didn't have to transfer funds from irecommend. Not even the rewards and cashback could convince me. I wouldn't recommend it 👎 SBP is a convenient way to transfer funds, receive pay from irecommend, and make payments without commission, but it's not without its flaws. All the pros and cons are there.
At the end of the week, I was surprised by how well the PowerPro handled my daily tasks. I used it for a week and the build quality surprised me. The buttons feel solid and the battery lasts longer than I expected. I was also impressed by the customer support team's response time - they got back to me within a few hours every time. If you're looking for a reliable device that won't break the bank, I'd say the PowerPro is a great choice. It's not perfect, but it's definitely worth considering. The return policy is also super lenient, so you can try it out risk-free. I'm really happy with my purchase and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone in the market for a new device.
