Hey guys, my partner recently got the idea that we need a projector nightlight. Why? Just because. Our son's got a disco ball that he's totally into, the REV projector LED nightlight is his thing. That's it for the box, can just throw it away. Let's unpack the nightlight. Contrary to the images, it's not white, it's blue. And, actually, the product card says that too, so no mistake there.

Out of the box, I also got a super short and useless manual.

The package includes a remote control, which, as expected, runs on AAA batteries - no batteries included.

I've gotta say, the nightlight is pretty compact - it's roughly egg-shaped and fits easily in the palm of my hand. The stand it comes with really adds to its stability.

The egg itself is actually really pretty, and it's ended up on my shelf as a little decorative thing.

These projections just aren't my cup of tea.

The blue color is a bit more to my liking - it's softer.

Adding some stars in the original mode was a bit of a weird effect – it looked like someone had shone a laser beam. To be honest, I'm not a fan of it. But, funnily enough, my cats thought it was a great idea and came running to join in on the fun.

My cat Melkaya even climbed up the wardrobe to get to the stars on the ceiling.

But I'm moving on to the calmest color mode.

Honestly, I think this projector will only appeal to little kids. For us, it was pretty boring. I'd love to see something more captivating and colorful, not just a dull haze. In fact, the clouds look more like slides than galaxies on the ceiling.

I think my husband rushed into buying it. For the price, you could find a more interesting projector.

By the way, it can work as a regular nightlight, and you don't even need to project anything.
