I'm still grinning from ear to ear after receiving these adorable Sokolov Clover-Shaped Diamond Studs. The quote in the title is from a George Clooney movie, and it perfectly captures my experience with these tiny earrings.
Where to Buy and Price
I picked up my Sokolov accessories at their official website, the app, marketplaces, and in-store at their two locations in my city. They used to be available at Sanlate too, but I'm not sure about that now. I ordered these earrings through the app, and they cost me 39 bucks with a 10% discount.

A Little Aside
I really appreciate this design. In fact, Van Cleef & Arpels popularized it with their famous Alhambra collection featuring four-leaf clover-shaped jewelry that costs an arm and a leg. Lesser-known brands have since copied it in their own way.
I even have a pair of gold-plated silver earrings inspired by Van Cleef & Arpels' design, but I'm not sure which brand they're from - maybe Sanlate or Sokolov. Check out my Balmain watch with a malachite dial for a similar vibe.
But the items I'm reviewing here are completely different - the only thing they have in common is the four-leaf clover shape.

Design and Packaging
The packaging is pretty standard, a sleek white box from Sokolov tucked away in a branded pouch. What's more interesting is what's inside.
Silver earrings in 585 proof red gold. The total weight is three grams. The most beautiful part is the decoration made of small colorless and black diamonds.
There are so many diamonds, and they're so tiny, it's a bit dizzying just thinking about them. If you're interested, you can take a look at the hallmark.
I'm not a fan of red gold, I prefer white, but these earrings were only available in red. After weighing my options, I decided that the large white insert would be a good match for the red gold. Here's how these metals work together.
The earrings have an English clasp, which I wouldn't call reliable, but it works well enough – it clicks softly into place and just as softly releases. On the inner side of the earring back, there's a brand logo and proof.
Expectations vs Reality
I made a collage with these earrings, and I have to say, they look just as good in real life as they do in the promo photos. But here's the thing - on the model, the earrings look somehow bigger, even though the scale seems to be generally accurate. And they're definitely more sparkly in person, I think the photos were taken with some special lighting.
I took photos of them in different lighting conditions.
Macro
Daylight near a window
Light from a lamp
That's what they look like when I blur the image a bit. For those who are into macro shots, this is what the sparkle looks like when you blur the image.
I've got to say, the briolettes aren't exactly dripping with sparkle, I think they're just too small. But overall, the charm of these earrings isn't in the sparkle, it's in the delicate, elegant design of the four-leaf clover and the contrast between black and white.

Wearing Them
I've been wearing these earrings for a while now, and I have to say, they're super comfortable. They're lightweight, and I barely even notice they're there. I don't take them off at night, and I sleep just fine with them on - they don't dig in or cause any discomfort. The clasp has also held up well, I've had no issues with it coming undone.

The Earrings on Me
I took a photo with my face to show the size of the earrings on a person, and the overall look. They're really small, perfect for everyday wear. They look super elegant and harmonious, without being too overdone.
They're suitable for any occasion, whether it's with a dress or a sporty outfit.
However, I won't be wearing them all the time. I'm not a fan of red gold, to be honest - it's just not my style, and I don't feel super comfortable in it. For me, it's got that classic Soviet vibe, even with a modern design (no offense to red gold lovers and Soviet nostalgia fans, this is just my subjective opinion).
But how do they look with white metal? I've got a ring in white gold with a flower-shaped diamond design. In my opinion, they actually work pretty well together, despite the different styles. And if I were to combine it all with a white ceramic watch? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
Still, the earrings are super cute and charming - if they were in white gold, they'd be absolutely perfect. I'd definitely recommend them.
That's all for now, thanks for reading!
