Faberlic Soo-Yun Multi-Action Cleaner Review: A Surprisingly Effective, Yet Imperfect Product
Hello, fellow cleaning enthusiasts!
I've been really impressed with Faberlic's household cleaning products, and their Soo-Yun series has been a standout for me. I've tried their laundry detergent and dish soap, and I was excited to round out the collection with their Multi-Action cleaning paste.
I don't usually use products like this, but my kitchen had been looking a bit grimy lately, and I needed something to tackle the tough spots. That's where the Soo-Yun Multi-Action paste came in – and I've had a chance to put it to the test.
Product Details
Brand: Faberlic.
Country: Russia.
Product: Universal cleaning paste.
Weight: 200g.
Price and Availability
The full price of the Soo-Yun Multi-Action paste is 279 rubles, but with my consultant's discount, I was able to snag it for 223 rubles. Considering the size, the price is pretty reasonable.
Packaging
The packaging is straightforward – it's a wide plastic bottle with the product's name and some basic information on the label. There's also a clear expiration date right on the front.
I love that the packaging is transparent, so you can see the product without having to open it.
Inside, you'll find this. The texture and consistency of the product are a bit off-putting, but I appreciate that it's not runny, so it won't leak through the packaging.
CHARACTERISTICS
Texture: This stuff is like a thick paste – you could even call it a mousse, it's so light and airy. And when you get it wet, it starts to foam up nicely.
Scent: It's got a bit of a chemical smell, but you really have to sniff it up close to notice. I love that it doesn't have that overpowering fragrance that some cleaning products do.
Color: It's a sort of greenish hue.

HOW WELL DOES FABERLIC'S ALL-PURPOSE CLEANING PASTE WORK?
This multi-action cleaning paste with its mineral formula really delivers on its promises.
The mineral formula is what makes it so effective at tackling tough grime and stains.
I've used it on all sorts of surfaces – from ovens to microwaves, stoves, and even my stainless steel pots and pans.
It's specifically designed to remove stubborn stains like dried-on grease, carbon buildup, lime scale, soap scum, rust, engine oil, soot, and even tar.
What I love about it is that it polishes and buffs the surface without causing any damage.
It's also amazing at cleaning the white sole of my shoes.
It's gentle on skin too, making it perfect for cleaning hands covered in motor oil, gas, and other greasy substances.
And the best part? It's budget-friendly and doesn't break the bank.
I have to admit, at first glance, I thought this paste was going to be a waste of money. But it produces a ton of rich lather, so you don't need to add too much of it to get the job done.
And the best part? It's super gentle on surfaces, and I haven't noticed any scratches or damage after using it.
HOW TO USE IT
Just apply a small amount of paste to a damp sponge, rub it onto the stained surface, and then rinse with clean water.
If needed, give it a quick wipe with a dry cloth.
One thing to note is that the paste dries out over time, but it still retains its cleaning properties.
Just add a bit of water if it starts to dry out, and you're good to go!
First of all, make sure to store this stuff out of reach of kids. If it gets in your eyes, it'll irritate them something fierce – just rinse with water for a few minutes. If you're wearing contacts, take 'em out if you can, and keep rinsing. If the irritation persists, see a doc and show 'em the packaging. After using it, be sure to wash your hands thoroughly.
Before applying it to delicate, oxidizing, glossy, or soft plastic surfaces, or surfaces made from unknown materials, test it on a discreet area first.
I've gotta say, using Faberlic Soo-Yun cleaning paste is a breeze. I like to scoop up a small amount with a regular kitchen sponge and apply it to the dirty spots. The sponge makes it easy to turn the paste into a foam. Then, I use the same sponge to wipe it away.
THE RESULTS
Let me show you how well this stuff works on two of the grimiest areas in my kitchen – the gas stovetop and the sink. They're always getting dirty in a hurry.
Here's what I started with.
I applied the paste with a soft sponge, just like I said I would. Then I scrubbed the surfaces with the hard side of the sponge. To be honest, I didn't have to put in much effort. I was curious to see how the foam would handle the grime without any heavy scrubbing.
Cleaning took me around 3-5 minutes.
And here's the result.
I have to say, it was a lot easier to remove around 95% of the grime on the stovetop with this paste. I didn't have to put in much effort at all. However, the really stubborn grime was still left behind, just in fragments.
My sink gets stained pretty quickly due to tea and other dark-colored drinks that I pour down the drain.
I've gotta say, the regular soap doesn't cut it here. I have to scrub pretty hard to get rid of the water spots on the surface of the sink.
But with this paste, I didn't have to put in much effort at all. It got lighter and regained its natural color right before my eyes. Sure, there were some stubborn spots that needed a bit of scrubbing, but that only took a few seconds.
I was surprised by how much cleaning power a small amount of Faberlic Soo-Yun kitchen cleaner packs.
Check out the results – it's not perfect, but you can definitely see the difference. I've never been able to get my surfaces this clean in such a short amount of time before.
And look at my strainer – it's like new again! Normally I'd have to replace it because I couldn't get it clean.
Now it looks like it just came out of the box. I'm really happy with it!
PLUSSES AND MINUSES
One of the standout features of Faberlic Soo-Yun is that it's completely gentle on your hands. I used it without gloves and didn't experience any irritation, dryness, or other issues.
One thing that really stands out is that it's a great value for money. Plus, it's gentle on surfaces and doesn't leave any harsh chemical smells behind.
It's also relatively easy to rinse off and doesn't leave any streaks or residue behind.
The high neck of the bottle makes it easy to scoop out the product, too.
It works well on light to medium messes, and it's particularly good at removing tea stains.
It's not just limited to the kitchen, either – it can be used on a wide range of surfaces, which is a big plus in my book.
The main downside is that the manufacturer's claims are a bit exaggerated. I mean, the product is great, but it doesn't always deliver the results you'd expect. That's why I'm taking off a star – I feel like they're overselling it a bit.
MY TAKEAWAY
I've got to say, the pros definitely outweigh the cons when it comes to this cleaning paste. It's easy to use, effective, and it's made a big difference in keeping my home clean without too much hassle. I've actually ordered two more bottles, just because I know I'll get good use out of them. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it, but don't expect it to be a miracle worker – it's just a solid, reliable product.
