A Fun and Practical Gift for My Daughter: Portable Mini Printer Review

I owe a big thank you to my daughter for introducing me to this awesome portable printer that lets you print from your phone using a special photo and image program.

It's been a game-changer for us, and I'm excited to share my experience with you.

First, let's cover the basics:

The Portable Mini Printer (Thermal Printer) Mk Home is a fantastic little device.

It's powered by a USB rechargeable battery, which is super convenient.

The dimensions are 11/8 x 3 cm deep, making it really small and compact – easy to fit in my hand.

Print size is 5.5/8 cm, and while the printed photos are a bit small, that's not a deal-breaker for us.

This printer is compatible with Android, Windows, and iOS, so my daughter can use it with her tablet or my phone.

You can find it online through Wildberries, Ozon, and other websites.

I paid 800 rubles for it, and I think it's a great value for the quality you get.

The manufacturing is done in China, but that doesn't affect its performance.

When you open the box, you'll see the printer, a small English-language instruction manual, and a charging cable.

It's clear how to replace the paper when it runs out – just press the long button and open the lid. The paper is sold separately, but it's also included in the package.

My daughter was able to put on the stickers herself. Initially, it was white with pink and a smiling cat design.

There's also a turquoise option available in the range.

So, how does it work?: The printer connects to your phone (or tablet) via Bluetooth using a special app that you need to download yourself.

In our case, it's Fun Print. The app is free and available in Russian.

Setting it up is a breeze – even a beginner should be able to figure it out.

Just keep in mind that you need to download the app from the Google Play store, or else the printer won't be detected.

Here are the steps to connect:

Turn on the printer (long press the power button).

Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.

Connect to the printer using Bluetooth.

Open the Fun Print app, then follow the on-screen instructions.

And that's how you end up with a picture like this.

You'll need to carefully remove it by the threads.

This printer can print photos, pictures, screenshots... My daughter wanted to print out photos and pictures from her favorite games and cartoons.

She loves the process and the magic of watching an image appear on paper.

It prints in black and white, which has its own charm too.

For example, my daughter can color in the picture herself.

The printed photos are a bit small, so it's best to choose clear images with a close-up shot.

A great idea for the future is to print out cheat sheets.

You can also print out text. Just select 'print text' in the app and enter it right there.

I never figured out how to print a ready-made file from my phone, but you can take a screenshot and print out the photo instead.

For example, you can print out a schedule, stick it on the fridge, make lists, and so on...

This will be an added bonus and will allow you to use the printer for more than just playing around.

I'm really happy with the purchase!

The printer is really cute, works great, and there are no issues with printing.

You just need a phone and the downloaded app.

You can print not only pictures, but also collages of photos, and even some notes and cheat sheets.

For 800 rubles, this is a worthwhile purchase, unlike those toys that just end up collecting dust!
