On many platforms, I came across the Payeer electronic wallet, which I eventually had to get familiar with. At the time, I also opened a few other electronic wallets with different payment systems. Some of them, like Qiwi, have since shut down, while others are still active.

Today, I wanted to share my thoughts on using the Payeer electronic wallet.

I've also used the service to work with cryptocurrencies. The Payeer Exchange platform lets you trade and exchange top cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Tether, Ripple, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Dash. To be honest, I didn't use the exchange myself, so I won't go into detail about it. However, if you're familiar with cryptocurrency trading, this service will definitely be useful.

Before I started using the Payeer e-wallet, I installed it on my computer. The service also has a mobile app, which I'll cover in another review.

How to set up the Payeer e-wallet: registration and login.

How do you top up your Payeer E-Wallet?

I head to the 'Top Up' section.

Keep in mind that the transfer fee varies depending on the payment system you use. The fee and transfer limit for each system are displayed on the right-hand side of the page.

After that, I enter the amount I want to transfer. The final amount, including the transfer fee, is displayed in the summary box. If everything looks good, it's just a matter of clicking 'Top Up' and the funds are reflected on my account almost instantly.

What payment methods are available for the Payeer E-Wallet?

I used to rely on Qiwi, but after it got shut down in early 2024, I switched to Yandex Money.

What's the minimum deposit amount with Payeer?

You can deposit as little as 1 ruble. The maximum deposit amount is capped at $5,000. When using other payment systems, their limits come into play, which are often lower than Payeer's.

Withdrawals are a bit more complicated. Each method has its own limits:

You can withdraw between 100 and 200,000 rubles to a credit card.

With Yandex Money, you can withdraw between 1 ruble and 15,000 rubles. Keep in mind that this amount is already subject to a commission, so you'll actually get less.

Mobile phone withdrawals have the same limits as Yandex Money.

How do I transfer money from my Payeer e-wallet?

To transfer funds, I clicked on the 'Transfer' section.

In the final window, the system displayed the amount with commission. All I had to do was click 'Transfer' and the money would be sent to the desired recipient.

How do I exchange currencies using my Payeer e-wallet?

I've had to exchange rubles for dollars a few times, and it's always been a breeze. I head to the 'Exchange' section to do it.

If I'm happy with it, I just hit 'Exchange' and the money is deposited into my wallet's corresponding currency account.

I'll keep this e-wallet on standby until better times or maybe learn to trade on the cryptocurrency exchange and earn some cash. I'd recommend checking out this platform, too.
