I've been exploring the world of contact lenses and their carriers, and I still can't decide on a simple term for the person who wears them. Anyway, today I want to share my experience with some really cool and comfy colored contact lenses from Fresh Look.

Let's get into some basic facts first.
Replacement schedule: one month, which is pretty standard for most lenses.
Number of blister packs in a package: 2 pieces, which is convenient for storing and traveling.
Lens type: colored, which is exactly what I was looking for.
Material type: hydrogel, a popular choice for comfort and breathability.
Wearing mode : daily, perfect for people who wear lenses every day.
Cylindrical power : 8.6, which is my prescription.

You can buy these lenses at IM online, and also in specialized stores, but the latter option will cost you twice as much.

The price is 640 rubles per package, which is a great value for money.
Now, let's talk about the package and the main minus of the lenses.
The package is a standard cardboard with a nice and colorful design. It opens from the sides, making it easy to access the lenses.
On each package, there's a note with the necessary diopter and color, which is also duplicated by a color strip. The expiration date is also indicated below the diopter.
For example, I ordered a contact lens with a diopter of -3.5 in a blue color. Let's check the side of the package... yes, everything's correct. The blue strip and the diopter are both right.
When you flip the package over, you'll find all the necessary information about the ingredients, manufacturers, and so on. You can open it up and read through it if that's important to you.
The lenses come with a UV filter, which is a great feature for protecting your eyes.
Inside the box, you'll find two blister packs with the same information printed on them.
You can't buy the blister packs individually, so if you need different diopters, you'll have to buy a second pack.
The packaging is always securely closed, which is a big plus.
I didn't experience any eye irritation when I first put them in. Each lens has two letters - FL - but they're not noticeable when you're close up.
I wouldn't say the design is pixelated, but it's not as sharp as Air Optix.
The lenses are also available with zero diopters, so people with 100% vision can wear them just for fun and to change up their look.
My only minus with these lenses is that I can't find them everywhere with the right diopter, especially offline. Right now, in my favorite IM (the only one where I order lenses), there are only 5 colors with a diopter left - true sapphire, my favorite turquoise, and three frame colors - grey, blue, and green. In other IMs, there are almost all colors and diopters available, but they're 200-400 rubles more expensive (if you're not put off by that, you won't mind the minus). I just don't want to deal with other IMs; I've gotten attached to this one, so I'm tolerating the lack of colors.
Another minus is the limited variety of curvature. I'm lucky, my lens curvature is 8.6 and it works well with these lenses, but some people might have a curvature of 8.7, 8.5, and so on, and these lenses would cause discomfort and worsen their vision. Unfortunately, this is a common minus for lens manufacturers.
Now, let's talk about my experience with these lenses.
I'm a seasoned tortoise, wearing lenses for almost a decade now, and I've tried almost all brands and varieties. My eyes have become sensitive lately (I work a lot on my phone and laptop), and the main thing I look for in lenses is comfort while wearing them.
I buy lenses primarily for health reasons, not for aesthetics or changing my look. Without lenses, I wouldn't be able to live my life; when I go outside, I can barely see anything - it's like seeing a little black dog in a black package.
I have -3.75 diopter in both eyes, but my ophthalmologist recommended getting lenses with a 3.5 diopter, as they're much clearer than lenses with the same diopter that get implanted in glasses.
I have to admit, I fell asleep in these lenses, but I didn't feel any discomfort while I was sleeping or after waking up. No dryness or irritation in my eyes, which is a huge plus. They do a great job of correcting my color vision, which is blue, and make my eyes look bigger due to the dark frame.
These lenses don't cause any discomfort, redness, or pain in my eyes, and they don't dry out or make my eyes water excessively.
One thing that surprised me is how well they hold up even after a long day of wear. I can wear them for 12 hours without any issues, and they still feel comfortable and don't cause any dryness. If I clean and store them properly, I can extend their lifespan by another month.
These lenses are a bit thicker than daily disposables, but they breathe well and don't cause any dryness, even after a full day of wear.
Another huge plus is that they don't cause sensitivity to light, which is a major problem with some other brands, like Alcon.
One thing I appreciate is how easy they are to remove - just a quick swipe of my finger and they're out. I've had issues with daily disposables in the past, where they would scratch my eyes when I tried to remove them.
Unlike some other brands, these lenses don't fog up my eyes when I first put them in or when I take them out (like the Colors Fresh Look experience I had).
The color palette is huge, and I love that I can choose from 10 different shades to match my personal preference. Whether I want a honey-colored eye, a bright green, or a vibrant blue, I've got options.
My eyes are blue, and the way different colors cover them is something I'll show you in the photos below. I'll also tell you how each color affects my mood and even my behavior.
I've tried out almost every color of these lenses over the past four or five years, but unfortunately, I couldn't find all the photos of my eyes, so I'll just describe some of the shades.
My natural eye color is a mix of blue and grey, and it depends on the lighting and my mood (when I'm stressed, my eyes turn grey, haha).
Let's start with the most recent color I got, which is turquoise. It really brings out the blue in my eyes and adds a fun touch. I get tons of compliments from family and friends about my eye color, and it looks great in both natural and artificial light.
The dark frame really makes the blue in my eyes pop, and it looks super natural. You can't even tell I'm wearing lenses from a distance - my eyes just look a bit brighter. Wearing this color gives me a confidence boost.
I have to say, the Honey and Pure Hazel shades are really similar, but the second one has a hint of green that's only noticeable when you look closely. In reality, it's not something that shows up when you're wearing the lenses. I'm obsessed with warm, earthy shades for brown eyes, and these are some of my absolute favorites. When I wore these, I felt super relaxed and calm, like a total softie. It's even visible in the photos – I think I might've become a little too sweet for my own good.
The color worked amazingly well with my blue eyes, though. The only thing is that on super bright sunny days, my pupils would get smaller and the blue would peek through, but I kinda liked that effect – it looked really cool from a distance.
This is the Honey shade
This is Pure Hazel
When the light hits it straight on, you can see a hint of blue, but when my pupils are fully dilated, the brown lenses look amazing, completely covering up my natural eye color.
I have to say, I went for the True sapphire just to see how noticeable it would be. And let me tell you, it's a real showstopper. It's super bright and eye-catching - you can't help but notice it. It's like having a pair of ill-fitting contact lenses that just don't feel right. I'd say it's one of those shades where you might as well just close your eyes and deal with the stares.
On the other hand, the brilliant blue was a total letdown. It's one of those shades that just doesn't do anything for blue-eyed people - it's like a non-event. But I have to say, it might be a great option for girls with brown or green eyes who want to mix things up a bit.
Green is definitely my go-to. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it - it looked amazing on me. And the best part? It completely hides my natural eye color, so no one even notices what I'm really wearing.
Wearing green is like unleashing my inner wild child. And hey, as they say, crazy people with green eyes are a special breed (no offense, of course!) .
I have to say, the Gray tone didn't really impress me - it looked a bit downbeat and gloomy. It put me in a pretty melancholic mood, to be honest.
The sterling gray tone reminded me of Game of Thrones - it was because my eyes were shining like those of the Other, lit up like a LED light.
Gemstone green was the only shade that didn't completely clash with my eye color. It didn't really affect my mood, to be honest - I barely noticed it.
The blue tone looked way calmer than true sapphire, way brighter and deeper than regular blue - it's super wearable and everyday, just the kind of thing you'd want to wear. It put me in a gentle, doll-like mood.
The amethyst tone reminded me of turquoise, but it had more green and purple undertones - the chameleon effect is really strong with this one. (When I paired it with a purple lip gloss, it gave it a slightly purplish hue.)
I love experimenting with different looks - 15 color options in every rainbow hue are proof of that.
With these lenses, I can give my style a fresh new look in no time and, more importantly, they help me change up my appearance and see the world more clearly.
It may not be a drastic change, but something about you changes, and that's amazing.
So, don't be afraid to try new things and experiment!

I'd give these lenses a solid 5 stars with one minor drawback - I wish there was more variety in terms of curvature.
I highly recommend giving them a try, and thanks for reading - I was trying to show you all the colors, but I couldn't quite pull it off.
Before making a purchase, be sure to consult with your eye doctor.
Wishing you all the best vision, and love!
