I'm a total sucker for body lotions. I mean, I just love slathering them on and making self-care a part of my daily routine. To be honest, I don't really need a rich, moisturizing lotion - this is more of a 'quick fix' for me.I'm not one for fancy ingredients or shimmer, so I tend to stick with lotions that are pretty neutral. Many of them do a great job of hydrating my skin, just like I need:
This body lotion is like a love letter to yourself. It's got all the good stuff: extracts, oils, and allantoin that transform your skin after dehydration and UV damage. The ingredients have been tested for centuries and envelop your skin in gentleness from the first touch.
And this particular product was a real mixed bag - I'll get into that later.
Where to buy: You can find it in various online stores.
Price: It's priced around 354 rubles for 200ml.
Appearance: The packaging isn't the most eye-catching, but it's got a certain charm to it. Given it's designed for a younger audience, the illustrations are pretty unique and quirky.
The bottle is small, but there's a little window on the side so you can see how much product is left.
Minus 100 points for the pump dispenser - it's a total fail. I've never seen anything like it. You have to press the button around 50 times just to get a tiny amount of lotion on your skin.
On the back, there's a lot of information about the product:
About the cream itselfHow to apply itIngredientsTexture: The texture is really nice - it's a light, non-greasy, non-silicone formula that absorbs easily without leaving any residue or stickiness. It's perfect for using on all areas of the body, and it gives a lovely feeling of gentle hydration without leaving any residue on the skin.
The cream doesn't roll off the skin, and it doesn't leave any residue or stickiness behind. It's hard to overdo it with this stuff - it's just the right amount. It doesn't leave any greasiness or stickiness, and it doesn't leave any marks on the skin.
The cream doesn't clog pores, and it doesn't cause any new breakouts or inflammation - it's perfect for sensitive skin.
From the manufacturer: This is the most gentle protection for young skin. Alantoin has moisturizing and soothing properties. Almond oil and shea butter soothe the skin. Raspberry and blackcurrant extracts provide antioxidant protection.
Ingredients: Alantoin, Blackcurrant extract, Raspberry natural extract, Almond oil, Shea butter.
Scent: The scent is lovely and vanilla-like.
Application: Apply the cream to clean, dry skin and massage it in until fully absorbed.
I always apply this cream the same way - just on the back of my thigh, and nowhere else.
Usage: Okay, so with this dispenser, it's a bit hard to gauge the amount. It's not the biggest dispenser, but it gets the job done.
Effect: I'm really happy with this product. To be honest, the actual formula is pretty great. It's not about intense moisturizing, but it's more of a gentle, everyday kind of thing. The light moisturizing and pleasant scent are exactly what I need. Everything about it is really nice. And the texture of the milk itself is also great - it's like a treat for my skin.
I've got pretty good skin on the back of my legs, so I don't need to do much with this lotion. It doesn't leave my feet feeling greasy, and the moisturizing effect is barely noticeable. It won't get rid of cellulite or anything like that.
I didn't see any preventative effects - nothing seemed to change. My feet didn't get any drier, but they also didn't get any softer (if I applied it to my feet). The same thing happened on my legs.
This lotion doesn't leave any residue on my skin, it doesn't streak, it doesn't make my skin feel oily, and it doesn't slide off. There's no silicone or oily film left behind. The milk absorbs really well and leaves no marks on my skin.
Overall, I'd give it two stars because of the pump, but the actual product is really great. I'd definitely recommend it.
