My Brow Game Has Been Upgraded with Brow App

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've gotta say, Brow App has been a total game changer for my beauty routine. I spent the whole summer growing out my eyebrows, and by autumn, they'd grown enough to bring their new wealth to the master - a skilled brow technician. I was a bit skeptical about trying a new place, especially after a bad experience with some local barbers who tried to shape my eyebrows, even though it was cheap. But I'm so glad I gave Brow App a shot. The staff were super friendly and made me feel at ease, even when I was being super picky. I booked an appointment online, and it was surprisingly easy - just be prepared for a wait, as the first available time slot was a day later at 7 pm in the Raya Plaza mall. Anyway, I'm so happy with my experience at Brow App. The quality of their work is top-notch, and the results have lasted longer than I expected. I'd definitely recommend Brow App to anyone looking to upgrade their brow game, and I think it's worth every penny.

Hello everyone!
I spent the whole summer growing out my eyebrows, and by autumn, they'd grown enough to bring their new wealth to the master - a skilled brow technician.
My eyebrows before looked pretty rough:
I'd had a bad experience with some local barbers who tried to shape my eyebrows, even though it was cheap.
I'm not a fan of at-home beauticians for a few reasons - it's a hassle to find them, and I think they show how little they care about their clients by saving on rent.
I'd seen Brow App around for a while while shopping at different malls, and I'd look in to see what they're doing. The concept seemed interesting - I'd go shopping and get my eyebrows done at the same time. But it didn't quite work out that way.
They specialize in eyebrows and makeup, so they must know what they're doing.
▪◾Booking◾▪
I decided to book an appointment in the most introvert-friendly way possible - online. It turned out it's not that easy to get an appointment - the first available time slot was a day later at 7 pm in the Raya Plaza mall. Oh well, I booked for 7 pm and waited.
Their website is great - you can see when there's a free time slot, the beautician's qualifications, prices, and even reviews for each beautician.
By the way, the prices vary depending on the beautician's qualifications and the type of eyebrow dye used (dye is cheaper than henna). They call it a 'set' when it's a combination of correction and dyeing.
▪◾Prices for eyebrows:◾▪
Beautician:
Dye - 1100 rubles
Henna - 1400 rubles
▪◾Senior Beautician:◾▪
Dye - 1350 rubles
Henna - 1700 rubles
Five minutes before my appointment, I arrived, and the beautician was finishing up with her previous client. A couple of minutes later, I was invited to sit down. The receptionist was super friendly and made me feel at ease, even when I was being super picky. The beautician, on the other hand, was serious and focused on her work - which is actually a good thing.
The visit was small but stylish and very light. It was quite private - for example, another woman was getting her makeup done nearby, but I didn't see her.
▪◾Service◾▪
They cleaned my eyebrows of makeup, applied an antiseptic, and asked about my preferences. I told them to do whatever they thought looked good.
One thing that was a bit annoying was the questions about the shape of my eyebrows during the correction. And then there were the questions about the color - lighter, darker, and so on. Before we started, they asked if I'd ever had my eyebrows threaded before, and I said no.
I closed my eyes and the technician got to work. I guess it's a bit cheeky to come in for a threading session with unruly eyebrows, but I didn't really care.
The threading process wasn't painful at all, but it was a bit surprising how much hair came off. I mean, I thought there were only a few stray hairs, but they just kept coming.
After the threading, the technician used tweezers to shape my eyebrows. I was sitting in front of a mirror, but my vision isn't great, so I couldn't really see what was going on.
They did a good job of trimming my eyebrows, too - I've been meaning to get them trimmed for ages, but I'm always worried about losing too much hair.
Next up was the dye - the technician was really careful about applying it, making sure to wipe away any excess. And then I just sat there for 10 minutes, contemplating life.
Brow up отзывы By the way, people were coming in to book appointments, but they were put off when they found out the next available slot was 2.5 hours away. So, 'pop in for a quick brow job' isn't really an option.
They removed the dye and asked me to take a look. And, yeah, everything was great!
Brow up отзывы My eyebrows are nice and wide, but still pretty neat. The color is a deep, rich brown that matches my hair perfectly - I was surprised by how well it matched, actually. There was a bit of a problem with the corners of my eyebrows, but that sorted itself out after a while.
I paid (it was 1100 rubles, and you can pay by card, too) and headed off to do some other things. The whole process took exactly 30 minutes - it's clear they've got things running smoothly here. The next client was already waiting when I left.
▪◾How long does it last◾▪
After a couple of days, the dye started to fade and my eyebrows looked like this.
Brow up ТЦ Райкин плаза отзывы They looked pretty much the same for about a week - I didn't even bother to touch them up in the mornings. But, of course, the dye doesn't last forever - it's a bit of a temporary fix.
I've been pleasantly surprised that I haven't needed to touch up my brows since the initial correction - not even once! I just tidy up one or two stray hairs under my brow every week or so, and the shape still looks great, even though it's been two months now.
Brow up reviews I'm not sure if it's because the technician got the shape just right, so there aren't many stray hairs to deal with, or if the thread removed so much surrounding hair that it's just not growing back in unwanted places.
When I color them in, it looks totally normal - you'd never know I hadn't waxed my brows in two months.
So, what did I like:
I liked discussing the future shape with the technician. The accuracy and relevance of the shape were spot on. The perfect color match was a nice surprise - I guess they have a ton of different shades to choose from. I haven't needed to correct it for ages, which is a big plus. The process was quick and easy. No small talk, just straight to the point - I appreciated that. The light interior was a nice touch. The user-friendly website made booking a breeze.
Not-so-favorite things:
I wasn't a fan of the questions about the shape of my eyebrows during the correction. The square start to my brows took some getting used to. The hassle with booking appointments was a bit of a pain.
I'd definitely recommend this salon. Yes, it's not the cheapest option, but the results are worth it. No one's going to thread their brows or dye a blonde's hair black (unless you ask nicely, I suppose).
I'll be back there for sure when it's time for a touch-up.
Thanks for reading!
