My Budget-Friendly Tripod Surprise: A Game-Changer for Vloggers!

I've got a ton of hobbies, and one of them is filming videos. I used to have a high-end tripod with a ring light, but the light started malfunctioning, so I replaced it with a video light. Since you can't attach a phone to a video light, I started looking for a tripod that could hold my smartphone. At first, I was searching for a high-end one, but then I realized I usually film my videos on the windowsill or on my desk. So, I switched to looking for a tabletop tripod. It's way cheaper than a floor-standing one.

In the end, I chose a tripod with a pretty simple design that seemed like it should be pretty reliable. The tripod leg attaches to a base with a weight.

The price of this tripod also impressed me. I'd say it was lower than I expected at the start of my search. The tripod cost me 138 rubles.The package was the standard cardboard one. The box is soft and got a bit crushed. There was no extra protection, but the tripod arrived undamaged.On the back, there's another attachment option. I took the one for my smartphone, probably the seller has an adapter for a microphone too. I didn't notice that when I made the choice.

There's a photo of the tripod from all sides on the package flap.Assembling the tripod was a breeze, and the parts fit snugly into place. The seller's website even has a video showing how quickly you can put it together.At first, I thought the tripod looked a bit flimsy, but once I had it assembled, it looked a lot more solid. Although the plastic quality isn't great, it's not terrible either. From a distance, it looks pretty good, but up close, you can tell it's a budget-friendly option.I was a bit worried that the tripod would be too low, but it's actually perfect for my needs. I'm a recipe vlogger, so I usually film my videos on a windowsill or desk. This tripod's height is spot on.

The phone stays put perfectly, which is great for me since I use my smartphone camera to record videos. The clips hold tight, and they're easy to open and close with a bit of effort.With this tripod, you can rotate your phone in any direction you like and adjust the angle to get the perfect shot.Even with the weight of my smartphone, the tripod holds steady and doesn't wobble. If you accidentally bump it, it won't vibrate, which is a huge plus.Symmetry isn't a problem with this tripod, and you can shoot both vertically and horizontally thanks to the hinge at the base of the holder.

If the tripod starts to lean under the weight of my smartphone, you just need to tweak this little screw with a screwdriver. The base is sturdy and holds my smartphone nicely. I was worried it would be flimsy and not hold my phone, especially when tilted. The height is adjustable thanks to this clever mechanism. You just twist and pull to the desired length, then tighten it back up. It's ridiculously easy to use and feels really stable. However, the tripod is pretty low, with a maximum height of around 34-35 cm. It's perfect for product shots, which is what I usually use it for.How it looks like.

Minimum height: I highly recommend this tripod. For the price, I got a fantastic helper for my video shoots. Fingers crossed it'll last me a while and not break. So far, it's been a great addition to my equipment. I definitely recommend the Raygood phone holder!
