I scored these 'Bavarian' sausages from Vladimir Standard for an absolute steal - 100 rubles on sale is a real bargain!
Product details: meat product, category B, sausage 'Bavarian', made by Vladimir Standard.
They come in a 400-gram cellulose pack, containing 12 sausages in artificial casings, which is a pretty standard packaging for this type of product.
The shelf life is a respectable 40 days, which gives you plenty of time to enjoy them.
I picked them up on sale, but the regular price is 205 rubles, which is still a decent value for the quality you get.
The ingredients list is a bit of a laundry list, but it includes pork, chicken breast, mechanically deboned chicken meat, bacon, beef, and a bunch of other stuff like protein stabilizers, flavor enhancers, and colorants - nothing too out of the ordinary for mass-produced sausages.
I decided to boil them straight away for lunch - no cooking time info on the packaging, so I just boiled them for 3 minutes to be safe.
Result: they didn't fall apart, didn't burst, and kept their shape, which is exactly what you want from a sausage.
I sliced one up: the texture's uniform, and they don't fall apart - a big plus in my book.
Taste-wise, they're pretty good - a nice, appetizing flavor with a strong smoky undertone that I actually enjoy, and the 'Product of the Year 2024' certificate is a nice touch.
For the price, they're quite edible and offer a decent value for money.
