A Nightmare Called 'Ticket to the Future' - My Warning to You

summarizeEditor's Summary

I'm warning you, don't waste your money on 'Ticket to the Future' - it's a complete disaster. I bought this product thinking it would be a game-changer, but it's been nothing but a headache. The build quality is subpar, the customer support is non-existent, and the return policy is a joke. I've had to deal with a faulty product, delayed shipping, and a lack of communication from the company. It's been a nightmare, and I'm still trying to figure out how to get my money back.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the whole experience, but I gotta warn others about the 'Ticket to the Future' life insurance program from Sberbank.
My kid's a total genius, and I was saving up to help them chase their dreams. They've always wanted to attend university in St. Petersburg, but I knew I couldn't afford it on my own.
So, when Sberbank reps started pitching this program to me, I thought it was the answer to all my prayers. I paid on time, every time, thinking I was securing my kid's future.
But then disaster struck. My kid got diagnosed with a brain aneurysm - it's like a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off. According to the stats, 90% of people die from this, and only 10% make it.
I spent a week in the hospital, and after the surgery, I was in a coma for a while. When I finally came to, I was a total mess - paralyzed on one side, struggling to speak, and barely able to walk. The doc said I had high blood pressure, and I had to lay off my phone and computer.
My husband was the one who had to deal with everything, explaining my situation to the insurance folks over the phone. He even took me to the office once to file a claim for an extension, but it turned out they'd already canceled our policy in October - without sending us a single notification. I was still in the hospital, unable to communicate or even send a text message.
The result? We lost all our money - a whopping 100,000 rubles. This isn't insurance; it's just a scam to rip people off.
This whole thing feels like something out of a bad war story - the kind my grandma used to tell me about the war. She lived under occupation, and the stories she shared were straight out of a horror movie. Sberbank's using their programs to exploit people - kids, women, and invalids, just like in those war stories.
So, here's the deal: I've learned that life insurance is just a way for companies to take your hard-earned cash. Don't fall for it like I did.
