Editor's Summary
I'm sharing my super disappointing experience with Until Payday, a loan company that's got some pretty shady practices. I applied for a 3000 ruble loan with 0% interest, but they approved me for 16,990 rubles with a bunch of extra services and fees that I had no idea I was signing up for. The worst part? They made it seem like a good deal at first, but it turned out to be a total nightmare. I'm warning you, folks: stay away from this company! I've got the details on how it all went down, and I'm hoping my experience can save you from making the same mistake.

Hey there, folks!
I'm sharing my super disappointing experience with a loan company that's got some pretty shady practices.
I've taken loans from a few different places before, and I've always been happy with the terms and the process. But this company, 'Until Payday,' has got some tricks up its sleeve that I just didn't see coming.
I went to their website because my usual loan company was having some technical issues. I'm a bit of a research nerd, so I read the reviews and thought, 'What's the worst that could happen?' Big mistake - it turned out to be a whole lot worse than I expected.
I applied for a loan of 3000 rubles, with 0% interest, for 5-7 days. I entered my personal and passport info, sent the SMS code, and... voilà! They approved me for 16,990 rubles with a bunch of extra services and fees that I had no idea I was signing up for.
I was like, 'Uh, no thanks!' and tried to remove the extra services, but another package popped up with a 9990 ruble fee. I needed the full 3000, so I was stuck. I mean, who tries to sneak extra fees onto a loan application, right?
I tried to contact their support team to cancel the application and account, but all I got was a robot's response saying I'd already been approved and had to pay the fees. Yeah, real helpful.
Then, an operator called me and started lecturing me about why I shouldn't be complaining. She said I should just pay the extra 400 rubles and that my credit score would be ruined if I didn't take the loan. I mean, come on - that's just not right.
I told her I hadn't agreed to anything and didn't want to pay the fees. She just kept talking over me and saying I was being unreasonable. I finally told her I'd report them to the consumer protection agency, and that shut her up pretty quick.
So, to all you folks out there, beware of companies that try to push extra services and fees onto you!
