Flower of Evil

I'm totally obsessed with this drama - it's about a family that looks perfect on the surface, but let me tell you, they're hiding some seriously dark secrets. Their lives are all about appearances, but beneath the surface, it's a whole different story.

The Flower of Evil: A Gripping Drama with a Complex Plot
Hello, fellow drama fans!
If you're looking for a show that's got a little bit of everything - romance, thriller, and mystery - then 'The Flower of Evil' is the one for you.
This drama is like a perfectly crafted puzzle, with each piece fitting together seamlessly to create a story that's both captivating and thought-provoking.
I'm super excited to share my review of 'The Flower of Evil' (2020), a drama that's been on my radar for a while now.
As it often happens with great dramas, I'm now itching to forget everything and watch it all over again.
The story revolves around the life of a son of a serial killer who's living under an assumed identity, with his real name on the wanted list for a 15-year-old murder case.
At the beginning of the show, he has a family: a loving detective wife and a 6-year-old daughter who adores him, and they have no idea about his past whatsoever.
This son of a killer is initially portrayed as a psychopath who can't feel emotions. But, at first, he seems like a great guy... or is he? The show does a great job of making you question everything.
The romance is a big part of what makes this drama so compelling. It's a slow burn that builds up to some really intense moments.
Screens with the couple are beautifully shot, and the chemistry between them is undeniable.
The way they look at each other, their dialogue, their body language - it's all just so captivating.
The main character is played by Lee Jun Ki, who delivers a phenomenal performance as a man with a dual identity.
He's got a dual identity – his wife calls him Pak Hui-seon, but his real name is Do Hyun-su (as revealed in the drama).
The main character is an emotionless guy, but he's mastered the art of faking emotions on his face.
He's so good at it that even his own wife can't tell the difference.
The supporting cast is equally impressive, with standout performances from Moon Chae Won and Cha Ji-Yeon.
The drama explores complex themes such as love, family, and identity, and it does so in a way that's both thought-provoking and entertaining.
The pacing is perfect, with no unnecessary filler.
It's a true masterpiece.
The story can be divided into two parts: the first 10 episodes focus on revealing the main character's personality, his relationships with his wife and daughter, and his fake parents.
The second part takes a darker turn, exploring the events of the main character's past and the search for the people responsible for his father's murder.
The secondary couple, Do Hae Su and Kim Mu Jin, adds a nice touch to the story without overpowering the main plot.
What might surprise you is the lack of a classic thriller.
The thriller elements are present in the beginning, but they fade away as the story progresses.
Serial killers, psychopaths, and murders - they're all in there, but they're not the main focus.
The main character's sister - Do Hae Su - is a great addition to the story, and her selflessness is admirable.
Her backstory is complicated, to say the least.
She's a bit of an anti-hero, just like her brother.
But she's got her emotions together and understands her brother better than anyone.
The main character's daughter - Park In Ha - is a sweet and innocent child who brings a lot of joy to the story.
My favorite moments are always about love, and 'The Flower of Evil' delivers in spades.
When detective Cha Ji Won saves informant Do Hae Sung, it's a heart-pumping moment that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
The conversation at the end, where the main character explains to his wife why he named his workshop 'The Place Where the Morning Star Is', is a beautiful and poignant moment that will leave you feeling all the emotions.
Overall, 'The Flower of Evil' is a gripping drama with a complex plot that will keep you hooked from start to finish.
It's a must-watch for fans of romance, thriller, and mystery, and it's definitely worth watching if you're looking for a show that will keep you guessing.
Rating - 100 out of 10.
I highly recommend watching it, and that's it for me, this drama has entered the top 2 of the best love stories.
Besides, 'Flower of Evil' grabs you from the very beginning and never lets go.
It's definitely worth watching.
