I stumbled upon the Scandinavian movie "The Dangerous Stranger" on this site and decided to give it a watch too.

I streamed it on Ivi in high quality.

To be honest, the movie's a bit weird, but it keeps your attention.

The Dangerous Stranger🎬She works with her sister, who's, like, developmentally challenged.The girls come from a low-income family, and Ebba often makes up stories about her parents traveling and having good jobs.

So, I wonder what she's doing with a mop in her hand...

Nope, she drags him to some rich dude's house while the owners are away, and pretends to be his girlfriend.

She even gives him a new name. I mean, what's the point, right? He doesn't remember anything anyway.

I'm trying to think like Ebba here...

I don't know about you, but to me, this guy's got some serious psychological issues...

Dramas Dramas 2024 🏰So, the guy starts asking questions, and Ebba just makes up some romantic story about how they met, with a wounded dove as the backdrop. I mean, come on, that's some crazy stuff.

He's a total charmer, so I guess it's no surprise she tries to hook up with him.

But the guy's not stupid, he starts to suspect something's off.

And the real question is, who's the bigger threat here? That's a tough one...

What's wild is that this movie is just so... unusual.I mean, both Abba and this amnesiac guy raise a ton of questions.

And then there's the neighbors around them, wondering if they've noticed that the people living in the house next door are basically strangers who are using their stuff.

It's like some kind of carnival, for real.

I would've called the actual owners of the house by now if I were a neighbor, just to ask if these people should be living there while they're away.

And the young people are even starting to bond!But do they really want to know the truth about each other?

This movie just feels so dark and depressing.

Bringing a guy into someone else's house, calling him a fake name, and making up a love story...

That's what loneliness and the pursuit of wealth do to people.

I'm not even sure what's more important to Abba - being needed, being loved, or living in a fancy house and driving a sweet ride?

These people are just so strange, with their strange quirks, but at least the nature around them is beautiful.

Dangerous Stranger film 2024I've gotta say, the plot of this movie is super unique, but somehow it keeps you hooked.

You just keep watching and wondering - what's gonna happen next?

What's gonna come out when the truth finally spills?

I'm having a hard time rating this movie.

From what I've seen, it's somewhere between 3 and 4.

This crazy story really keeps you on the edge of your seat, and it feels like it's pulling you towards a 4.

But then that ending hit me, and it was so depressing that I had to bring my rating back down to 3.

I'd still recommend this movie to watch, but with a caveat - it's definitely not for everyone.

Scandinavian movies are always a surprise, and this one's no exception - you've got to use your brain to figure out the main characters.

And can we talk about the actress who plays Abby? She's just so... flat.

It's like in a fairy tale - whatever's meant to be, whatever's not - it's all just gonna happen anyway...

Ugh, those Europeans and their ways!

You'll see how it all plays out in the movie, though.
