Synergetic Aromamagia Floor Cleaner Review
I've been really excited about the variety of Synergetic products lately. It's nice to have options, because the same scents can get old fast. This manufacturer even offers multiple variants of their floor cleaner, which I thought was a great touch. I decided to try the one with the most enticing name, 'Aromamagia', which promised a vibrant floral scent.
The packaging was straightforward, with a bubble wrap package and tape to keep everything secure. However, the liquid did freeze into a single block due to the cold, but it thawed out within a few hours and returned to normal.
The lid is a measuring cup, which is a thoughtful touch. It even has markings up to 30ml, although they're barely visible. However, the underside of the lid is huge and not very convenient. You have to pour carefully, and there's no indentation for collecting drips.
The cleaner itself isn't water, but a liquid gel. It has a pinkish hue, which I'm not a fan of in cleaning products, but I still think they're unnecessary.
According to the recommended dosage, this cleaner is twice as economical as Propex or Biomiyo. You usually get 2 caps for 5 liters, but this one only needs one. Although, for a general cleaning, you'll need more.
The cleaner doesn't produce foam. If foam appears due to water pressure, the bubbles pop quickly and disappear. I was impressed by how little soapiness I felt in the water.
Synergetic's Aromamagia floor cleaner features a floral scent that's supposed to be made up of jasmine, geranium, neroli, and rose essential oils. However, if you were to mix these essential oils yourself, you'd get a much more interesting scent. I wouldn't put rose or geranium at the forefront, I'd make jasmine the main note. However, in this product, the rose and geranium notes are more prominent.
Personally, I get a soft, calm, and cool floral scent from the rose notes, and that's okay by me. What I'd like is for it to smell more vividly during cleaning and last longer after. As it is, it disappears almost instantly after cleaning... No staying power. And in general, the scent isn't as amazing as BioMio's.
As for effectiveness, this product didn't surpass BioMio, which I consider the best in the business, even better than Propex. But it's pretty close. It collects a decent amount of grime from the intimate area. Clearly more than regular water or some useless product like ECOlogica. But less than BioMio.
In general, it's not bad.
I didn't notice any dilution. The cleaner handles laminate, wood, and linoleum with ease, without leaving any residue or damaging the floor surface. However, for tougher stains, I've found that using the concentrate works best - for example, doubling the recommended dose helped me clean a textured linoleum floor with a wood grain pattern and stubborn dirt buildup in the crevices.
After using the cleaner, my floors don't have that super-shiny look, but they still look pretty good. I also noticed a slight anti-static effect, but it's not as smooth or silky as what I get from BioMio.
I'm really impressed with the eco-friendliness and safety of this product - it doesn't require rinsing, and I've even walked barefoot on the still-damp floor without any discomfort, which is a big plus compared to harsh chemicals. If you have kids at home, this is definitely a great choice. However, if I had tiny tots running around, I'd opt for an even more eco-friendly option with no fragrances or essential oils.
Overall, I'm pleased with this cleaner, and it's definitely worth considering for its variety of scents. Still, my heart belongs to BioMio.
