Chayka Laundry Detergent 2in1

I've been using Chayka Laundry Detergent for a while now, and I'm really impressed with the 2in1 formula that cleans and conditions in one go. No need to use separate fabric softener, which makes it a great value for money. It's perfect for everyday use - gentle on clothes and the environment, and it's easy to see why it's a popular choice.

The Surprising Truth About This Super-Cheap Laundry Powder

summarizeEditor's Summary

I recently picked up a super-cheap laundry powder that blew me away with its results. For under 50 rubles, I got a solid 400-gram pack that cleaned my dirty socks and rags like a charm. The 'Chayka' powder with conditioner is made in Belarus, and I was pleasantly surprised by its performance. It's a total winner, but the packaging could use some improvement.

Let's get real – if you're easily grossed out by dirty socks, you might want to close this review right now, because I'll be showing off the magic of this powder on, well, dirty socks and rags.
Can we please stop throwing billions at the laundry industry? It's like, we're conditioned to think that paying more always means getting more. But let's be real, if you want quality, you've got to put in the elbow grease.
Hello, lovely people! I recently picked up a super-cheap laundry powder that blew me away with its results. I just had to share my experience with you all.
So, the standard 400-gram pack costs a whopping 45 rubles. I opted for the automatic version, but they also have a hand-wash only option.
The 'Chayka' powder with conditioner is made in Belarus. The packaging promises a lot:
Removes stains
Prevents lime scale buildup
Effective at 30°C
No need for pre-soaking
Easy to rinse out
So, let's put it to the test! The packaging is easy to open, with a standard clasp that opens with a press of your finger.
I was really looking forward to a nice, fresh scent, but unfortunately, there's none to be found – neither in the powder nor on my clothes after washing. I mean, what's the point of calling it a 'conditioner' if it doesn't even leave a hint of freshness?
For me and many others, that's not even a con. We hate when clothes have a lingering detergent smell.
The particles in this powder are pretty large, almost without any color-bleaching additives or enzymes. It just looks like regular powder, you know, like the kind we used to use back in the day.
I decided to put it to the test with a tougher job - washing some super dirty kid's socks. I washed them on a temperature of 70 degrees.
This was a tough job, as you can see from the photo. Not every powder can handle this kind of grime.
I added a lot of powder, as recommended for tough stains and hard water. Our water is super hard, so I always add the maximum amount of detergent.
The results on the colored socks were really impressive - they were clean and the color was still vibrant, no fading. The powder performed great.
However, the results on the white socks were a letdown. The dirt was removed, but there was no whitening effect at all. This powder is not suitable for white laundry at all.
I also wanted to try it out for hand washing and soaking. I took a dirty rag that we used to clean a greasy stove and soaked it in boiling water for an hour.
I was blown away by how well this powder dissolves grease and grime in water - it's like magic! You can literally see it working.
After just an hour, I was able to wring out the cloth and it was spotless - all the grime and grease had been lifted out of the fabric.
The powder is a breeze to rinse out, and I was impressed to find that it left no residue on my dark-colored clothes.
I'm thoroughly impressed with this powder - it's a total steal for the price. I've tried more expensive cleaners that didn't even come close to delivering the same results.
If I had to sum it up: no fragrance, no conditioner, not suitable for white clothes, but perfect for colors, can be hand-washed or machine-washed, no foam, easy to rinse, and great at removing stains.
I wish you all clean clothes and a clear conscience!
