Inside the Human Body Museum, St. Petersburg

This museum in St. Petersburg is a must-visit for anyone who's ever wondered what's inside the human body. The life-size exhibits are seriously cool, and the interactive displays will have you geeking out in no time. Whether you're a science whiz or just curious about how our bodies work, this place is a real eye-opener.

A Fun but Not-So-Special Experience for the Kids at Smile-park

summarizeEditor's Summary

I took my kids to Smile-park in St. Petersburg, and while it was a decent place to spend the day, it didn't leave a lasting impression. The park's main attractions, like 'House on the Head' and 'Glass Labyrinth', were the highlights for us. We liked that you can buy a ticket that gets you into all the attractions - it's convenient and saves time. However, the park's layout felt a bit lacking, and some of the attractions, like 'Mirror Labyrinth', felt overpriced. If you're in the area and looking for a fun day out with the kids, Smile-park might be worth considering, but it's not a must-visit destination.

We recently took a trip to St. Petersburg with the kids, and since we live nearby, we thought it'd be great to visit Smile-park. I've gotta say, it's a decent place to take the kids, but it's not particularly memorable.
We were particularly interested in 'House on the Head' and 'Glass Labyrinth', so after checking out the Smile-park website, we decided to buy tickets for all their attractions instead of individual tickets. A ticket with the full list of attractions costs 2500 rubles per person, which is a bit pricey, but individual tickets cost between 800 and 1000 rubles, depending on where you want to go.
We only had one day, so we didn't get to visit all the positions. One plus of Smile-park is that all their attractions are located relatively close to each other, usually just across the street, which helps you save time if you're just passing through St. Petersburg like we were.
In the end, we managed to visit 'House on the Head', 'Glass Labyrinth', 'Mirror Labyrinth', and 'Inside a Human' in just one day.
I want to leave a review specifically about 'Inside a Human'. I did manage to take some photos, of course, but I didn't get to take a picture of the entrance, which is designed like a human mouth.
Inside, most of the decor is in red tones - the color of human blood. And there are all sorts of fake human organs everywhere. Here's an example.
And I'm not even sure what this is. Maybe it's the gallbladder or something like that.
The whole 'labirynth' is filled with signs that have general information you can easily find online anyway. I mean, kids probably won't even bother reading them, they'd rather explore the organs and other stuff. Here's an example of one of those signs.
These signs are all over the place, next to the corresponding organs, of course.
I don't think adults would find 'Inside a Human' particularly interesting (although, who knows, maybe some adults might find it educational or a fun trip down memory lane to their biology classes). But kids, on the other hand, would love it. They could spend hours exploring and touching everything.
We won't be going back there anytime soon.
While 'Inside a Human' is a great learning experience for kids, there's nothing particularly special to see. And to be honest, you can find all the information online for free. The whole 'labirynth' is filled with signs that have general information, but kids probably won't even bother reading them.
I've gotta say, the customer support from this company has been top-notch. I had a question about the return policy, and they got back to me within an hour. Their response was super helpful, and they even threw in a few extra tips for getting the most out of my purchase.
