I'll be the first to admit it - cleaning the bathroom isn't exactly my favorite task. I'm actually pretty chill about cleaning, ironing, and washing dishes in general, but bathrooms just aren't my thing. That is, until I came across a product that actually makes a difference.
That's exactly what happened with this Sanfor product. I've bought from Sanfor before, but this particular one caught my eye with its new design and impressive results after the first use. When shopping for bathroom cleaners, I usually at least hope for some antibacterial properties, but this one genuinely removed the mineral deposits left behind by water spots on the toilet.
One of the things that really stood out to me was the packaging. The bottle is a big, heavy one made of dense plastic with a greenish hue. On the front, there's a sticker with product info and its purpose, which features a white toilet – it's a pretty clear indication that this is for cleaning your white toilet. The big bottle is actually pretty easy to hold onto, even when I'm wearing gloves. The textured surface on one side makes it stay put in my hand.
The other side is smooth and tapered, with the nozzle on the side - it's a thoughtful design that makes it easy to use. All the important info is on the back of the bottle, in tiny black text that's still easy to read. There are three little pictures on top that show it's safe to use on toilets, sinks, and tile. The instructions also mention that it's great for cleaning the kitchen, getting rid of grease stains, mildew, and soap scum.
Just mix 2-3 caps with 1 liter of water to clean floors and tile. I have to say, the unusual number of holes is quite a surprise - it's usually just one small hole, but this one has seven tiny little holes. With this arrangement, the cleaning solution can cover a much larger area of the toilet bowl.
I was really happy with how the ORGANOLEPTICS turned out. The blue-ish hue gave it a nice appearance and made it easy to see where I was applying the product, ensuring I didn't miss a single spot. This made it simple to clean the entire perimeter. ORGANOLEPTICS had a thick consistency that started to spread out as I applied it, covering the entire perimeter for a thorough clean.
After 10 minutes, most of the product had drained into the sink, but there was still a noticeable layer left behind that continued to work its magic on the surface. The aroma was actually pretty mild and non-irritating – I didn't even feel the need to open a window.
Our bathroom situation on the first floor is a bit weird. It looks like there are two drain holes on either side of the toilet, but the area on the right side always gets clogged with this brownish mineral deposit that's tough to clean, and before you know it, you've got water spots all over the place after just a couple of days. I wouldn't say our water is dirty, but this issue is pretty frustrating.
One thing that really stood out was the unsightly stain that appeared in the middle of the toilet bowl. I'd leave the cleaner to work for 10-30 minutes, without setting a timer, and just let it sit while I attended to other things. When I came back, I'd grab the brush and go over the entire toilet bowl again, scraping off the unwanted residue that had settled.
The cleaner would start foaming up and I'd leave the foam on the surface of the toilet bowl for another 10 minutes or so. While a soft brush picked up most of the light, invisible dirt and grime, I had to use a plastic toothbrush to scrape off a dried-on lime scale stain. And let me tell you, it wasn't always easy - the cleaner's formula actually broke down the lime scale and made it a breeze to remove the ugly brownish-yellow residue.
The surface transformed instantly, and all those ugly discolored spots just vanished, leaving it looking like new, clean, and pristine. It's like those ugly stains never even existed in the first place – there's no sign of any water marks or discoloration. And as long as I'm using this stuff, the surface remains spotless, effortlessly breaking down a small layer of lime scale each time.
Unlike other cleaning products that just leave a residue, only to have it build up again over time, this one gets the job done without leaving any behind. My trusty white friend is shining like new again, sparkling with cleanliness. I love using products like this, knowing I can just apply it, come back later, and with a quick wipe, everything's clean and spotless, no fuss or extra effort required.
When rinsing, a layer of foam forms, which disappears completely once the water runs clear. So, would I recommend this Sanfor remover? Absolutely, yes! I've put it to the test on two floors, and it's performed flawlessly, effortlessly tackling the tough job of dissolving and breaking down lime scale buildup.
My bathroom cleaning routine is now a breeze – it doesn't take up a lot of time, and I'm loving every minute of it!
