Royal Canin Persian Cat Pâté for Cats with Tuna Flavor

Royal Canin Persian Cat Pâté for Cats with Tuna Flavor

I've been blown away by this Royal Canin Pâté - it's a total game-changer for Persian cat owners. The tuna flavor is a huge hit with my feline friends, and I love that it's packed with nutrients and super easy to digest. It's perfect for cats with sensitive stomachs, and I've noticed a real difference in their overall health and happiness since switching to this food. My cats are more energetic, their coats are shinier, and they just seem happier overall.

My Cat's Unexpected Love Affair with Royal Canin Pâté

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've gotta say, finding the perfect wet food for our feline friend has been a challenge, but Royal Canin Pâté has been a total game changer. The smell and look had me sold from the start, and my cat's digestive issues just vanished after switching to this stuff. Of course, there are some downsides, like the weird ingredient list and the price, but trust me, it's worth every penny. I've tried a bunch of other brands, but this one's the real deal.

Fellow cat owners, I've got some awesome news to share with you!
We've been on a mission to find the perfect wet food for our feline friend, and I'm stoked to report that we've made some progress. We've already found a great dry food that our cat loves, but wet food has been a different story.
Check out our favorite dry food here
So, let's get back to the story. At the pet store, I picked up two Royal Canin pouches to give them another try. I'll admit, I was skeptical at first, given the brand's reputation for quality.
As it turns out, Royal Canin used to be a top-notch brand, but after they opened a factory in Russia, their quality took a hit. Pet owners would come to the store where I worked and complain about their cats refusing to eat the food or experiencing digestive issues. Some even developed allergies. It was a real shame, because the brand had such a great rep. However, I'm happy to say that things seem to have improved, and I decided to give Royal Canin another try.
When I got home, I was a bit bummed to see that I'd bought a pâté instead of the chunky bits my cat prefers. But hey, you work with what you've got, right?
The pouch I got was 85g and cost 60 rubles.
This food is specifically designed for adult cats over 12 months old, and what's interesting is that it's formulated for Persians. My cat isn't a Persian, but she's super fluffy, and I figure it can't hurt to support her coat health.
Royal Canin has a ton of breed-specific foods, which is pretty cool.
The pouch has a special opening line, which is super handy.
The back of the pouch has all sorts of info, including feeding guidelines.
According to the packaging, a typical cat needs two pouches a day, or one pouch and 30g of dry food (roughly speaking, of course).
What really bugged me was the ingredient list. I have no idea how much meat is actually in there, which is a major concern for me.
And here's the food itself - a nice, juicy pâté with a great smell. It looks super appetizing, if I do say so myself.
My cat immediately caught wind of the smell and started meowing for food.
I was worried that the pâté wouldn't be a hit with my cat, but I was pleasantly surprised. She gobbled it right up.
Here's a photo that says it all: 'Enough photos, let's eat already!'
We ended up eating one pouch in one day, plus some dry food.
I've gotta say, I was really impressed with this Royal Canin pâté, despite some reservations about the ingredient list and price. I'd definitely recommend it to other cat owners out there!
Thanks for reading!
