Small to Medium Parrot Food with Honey by Triol

I've tried a bunch of bird seed mixes on my parrots, but this one by Triol really stands out. It's specifically made for small to medium parrots, and the addition of honey is a game-changer - my birds go wild for it. The ingredients are top-notch, and I love that it's got everything my feathered friends need to thrive. Whether you're a seasoned bird owner or just starting out, this food is a great choice for a healthy and happy parrot. I've seen a real difference in my birds' energy levels and overall health since switching to Triol's parrot food.

A Bird Feeder's Worst Nightmare: When Marketing Misfires Big Time

summarizeEditor's Summary

We're big fans of this brand, but this bird food with honey was a total letdown. I'm still trying to figure out what went wrong. The packaging looked great, but the bird food itself was a disappointment. Here's the honest truth about our experience.

A Cautionary Tale for Fellow Bird Enthusiasts
I recently had a pretty ridiculous experience with a bird food that promised the world but delivered nothing but disappointment. Let me tell you all about it.
A Little Background. We've been loyal customers of this brand for three years, and our feathered friend loves their bird food. It's been a staple in our bird-feeding routine, and we've never had any complaints. We've mixed it with other foods like apples, bread, hard-boiled eggs, and buckwheat groats.
Now, let's get to the main event – the bird food with honey that left us all scratching our heads.
I Bought It for the HoneyThe packaging is quite attractive, with two happy-looking parrots on the front. The box is made of cardboard, which is easy to bend. That's a small minus. Shelf Life: 2 Years
That's a great shelf life, but when was the food actually made? I see only "10 2015" on the packaging. I'm guessing it's November.
Store in a Dry, Cool Place
That's a no-brainer. If you store it in a damp or humid spot, the food will go stale.
The Expiration Date Is a Mystery. It Looks Like November 2017.Okay, so we get it. Store it in a dry, cool place. But here's the kicker – the food with honey has no honey in it whatsoever! I'm not sure why they bothered listing it as an ingredient. Come on, folks, be honest with your customers. The Ingredients: Proso Millet, Red Millet, Hemp Seeds, Canary Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, Safflower, Meadow Grass Seeds, Iodine in a Bioavailable Form, Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, D, and PP
No Honey in SightWho are they trying to fool? Where's the email address? At least they could've provided a contact method for customers.
Where Do We Even Send an Email? Let's Take a Look at the Food Itself. There Are Small Grains, Seeds, and Who-Knows-What-Else.
The Food Itself Isn't Bad. There Are Grains, Seeds, and More. So, What's the Verdict? My Parrot Won't Touch This Stuff. He's Always Squawking and Refusing to Eat It. I've Tried Mixing It with the Green Food from This Brand, and He Loves It. But This One? Not So Much. Love your feathered friends? Feed them the good stuff, and don't disappoint them.
Wishing you all the best! With love, Bananchik1520!!!
