Inside the fancy packaging, you'll find another box with the Razer logo on it. The Razer Viper 8KHZ comes with a nice little pouch, a cable with a soft tie, a USB connector, and an instruction manual.

The cable is one of my favorite features - it's ridiculously long and wrapped in a soft, textile material that makes it super flexible and resistant to kinking.

I've really fallen in love with the design on this mouse - it's sleek and minimalist. The symmetrical shape makes it suitable for both left- and right-handed users, and it's also super comfortable for my small hand.

The left and right click buttons are super easy to press, and the scroll wheel is rubberized for smooth gliding. The mouse itself has a matte black plastic body, and there are two buttons on each side.

Since I'm not a gamer, I'm not really sure what these buttons are for. But, as it turns out, they can be customized in the mouse's software.

There are also rubber grips on the sides of the mouse, which make it super comfortable to hold. My fingers don't slip off, even during extended gaming sessions.

Personally, I don't find the side buttons to be a distraction at all. I barely even notice they're there.

The Razer logo on the mouse is pretty cool. When you turn on your computer, it lights up with a sequence of colors - purple, pink, orange, green, blue, and blue. It's a nice touch, but you can customize the colors in the software if you want.

We didn't bother customizing the colors, so it just cycles through all of them. It's a nice little feature that adds some personality to the mouse.

I've noticed that the side grips do get smudged easily, mainly because they're textured. Cleaning them can be a bit of a challenge.

But that doesn't affect the tactile feel or the quick response of the mouse.

The mouse glides smoothly on its three ceramic feet. I really like how it's responsive, accurate, and lightweight at the same time.
