My Platiza Nightmare: Why I Won't Be Using Them Again

summarizeEditor's Summary

I was sold on Platiza's promise of helping with unexpected expenses, but things took a turn for the worse when I got hit with a 'spoiled' credit history label. The website's friendly vibe and competitive interest rates initially won me over, but the loan application process left me feeling frustrated and confused. I've always been diligent about paying back loans on time, so it's weird that Platiza wouldn't give me the benefit of the doubt. I'm still trying to figure out what went wrong, but for now, I'm not interested in using Platiza again. I thought they were the answer to my financial prayers, but it turned out to be a nightmare.

I was browsing online and stumbled upon Platiza, a service that promised to help me cover unexpected expenses. Life can be unpredictable, even with a solid budget. I've been there before, and I know how it feels. The idea of taking out a small loan, paying a relatively low interest rate, and then returning the money with a small fee seemed like a comfortable solution.
The Platiza website looked friendly and inviting, and I was impressed by their promise of competitive interest rates, especially for loyal customers. They claimed to offer loans to people with no credit history or poor credit, and even promised to help restore a good credit score for honest borrowers.
After signing up and filling out the application, I was shocked to see that my credit history was marked as 'spoiled.' I was expecting anything but that, since I've always been diligent about paying back loans on time. I've taken out a few loans in the past, and my credit history is spotless. The only time I've had issues was when I missed a payment by just a couple of days – and that was only a couple of times!
So, how do I fix this credit history mess?
Apparently, I needed to take out a loan of 2,000 rubles for 15 days, with a whopping interest rate of 2,450 rubles. That's right – I'd be paying back 4,450 rubles in total. I mean, come on!
You could argue that small loans don't generate much profit for the company, and that they're taking on more risk by lending to people without checking their credit history. But why lie about my credit history in the first place? Are they really helping people with bad credit, or just making it worse?
I agree with one of the previous reviewers – it seems like creditworthiness is determined by who you know.
Needless to say, I was thoroughly unimpressed with Platiza. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. If you need a microloan, just take out your passport and head to a microfinance center – they'll check you out in 20 minutes, and you'll be a loyal customer in no time. Even with a high interest rate, you'll only have to pay back a fraction of what Platiza wants. For example, if you borrow 2,000 rubles at 730% APR, you'll only have to pay back 2,640 rubles, not 4,450 – a huge difference.
What really gets my blood boiling is that Platiza claimed to offer competitive interest rates, but in reality, their rates are sky-high. I'm not sure what's more shocking – the fact that they lied about my credit history or the fact that they're charging such exorbitant interest rates.
I've taken out loans from other companies before, and I've never had any issues with my credit history. Platiza's application process seemed straightforward, but the outcome was anything but. I'm left wondering if they're more interested in making a quick buck than in helping people in need.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with Platiza? I'd love to hear your stories and advice on how to avoid these kinds of scams.
Update: I've done some research and found that Platiza is not a reputable company. They have a history of charging exorbitant interest rates and lying about credit histories. If you're in need of a loan, please do your research and avoid Platiza at all costs.
