My Disappointing Experience with the Magnet Game

summarizeEditor's Summary

I recently gave the Magnet game in the Magnt app a try, but my experience was a letdown. The game's concept of winning discounts and coupons sounds great, but the odds are against you. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the game loaded this time, but it stopped working after a while. I've had similar issues with other games in the app, and it's starting to feel like a total waste of time. The value for money just isn't there, and I'm not seeing the benefits I was expecting. I've tried to give the game a fair shot, but it's just not living up to my expectations.

Hello everyone!
I recently gave the Magnet game in the Magnt app a try, and I'm here to share my thoughts.
The game is easy to find in the app, nestled between 'Offers for you' and 'Coupons'. I was excited to dive in.
I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the game loaded this time - it was a lot faster than the previous games. I recall them taking ages to load, but this time it was smooth. I checked it around lunchtime, played for a bit, and then the game stopped loading. About an hour later, I checked again, and it was loading again.
The concept of winning discounts and coupons is appealing, but the odds are against you. In previous games, I and my friends/family members have won such discounts multiple times, and there were plenty of useful items with nice discounts - cheeses, sausages, dumplings, juices, pet food, and more - that would really appeal to many people. The best part is that your actions are minimal - just log in once a day and play a simple game.
You get one free attempt every day. To get more attempts (up to 4 extra per day), you obviously need to buy something at Magnt and complete tasks. Connecting your pets, choosing categories, sharing a code with a friend - these are the simplest and most cost-effective ways to get more attempts. Plus, the threshold for getting attempts has increased to 700 rubles, which is higher than in previous games.
You also earn crystals for completing tasks, purchases, and leveling up.
On the game's main page, we're greeted by 4 shops - draws, prizes, tasks, and a store.
Raffles - like the 'Carrot' ones from Ozone, where I'm definitely not wasting my crystals on those. I'm plagued by doubts that winning something will be either impossible or extremely unlikely.
I'm saving my crystals for the 'Shop' tab - maybe I'll manage to accumulate enough for a product that costs a ruble or has a significant discount, and there are plenty of things to choose from. By the way, I even managed to buy some pelmeni for a ruble using those crystals in the last game.
In the tasks, you can see what you get points for, how to complete them, and even take the points themselves. You can also see a list of products that give points - but usually, it's the same products that have coupons.
In the shop, you can buy additional points for Magnt bonuses and various boosters. Please, for the love of God, don't waste your bonuses.
In the prizes, you can drool over the 'possible' ones and cry over the 'won' ones.
The 'Play' button is located at the very bottom, right next to the 'Close application' button. But it's okay, I haven't accidentally closed the app yet.
The game is extremely simple - you just need to tap on crystals of a certain color. At the top, you can see how many of something you need to pass the level and how many moves you have for it. By the way, if you get stuck (yes, I'm not very good at simple games, it turns out), you can replay as many times as you want without using additional points.
I was surprised to find boosters that help with game progress, but I've never bought them in any game. They came as a gift instead of a regular coupon - okay, no big deal.
Here are the prizes I got ↓
I'm not a fan of subscriptions to services, movies, and the like - and I think most people feel the same way.
Yandex Search, which always pops up in every game, has been disabled for ages.
The discount on orders is still available, but I often get discounts on orders from the Magnt app, and sometimes even more.
What else did my family and friends get: the same waffles, 50% off small milk, 50% off energy bars, and 50% off a cat food packet. Oh, and that's it for now </sigh> The rest is all subscriptions, boosters, and a small discount on delivery.
It's only been three days, but so far, the game hasn't been very generous with its rewards... Based on my past experiences, I've come to think that within the first week or so, you can snag the best coupons and items for a ruble, and then it's all about the unwanted subscriptions and boosters. But this time, it's already feeling a bit meh, and I'm not getting my hopes up. Maybe I'll be able to accumulate enough crystals to buy something for a ruble or with a big discount <\_(【)_/】
Oh, I miss those times when I won 1.2kg of cat food for a ruble... </a></p><em>I still recommend the game - it's easy, and you get a free attempt every day - maybe you'll win something useful <\wink>
<em>Good luck, everyone <\wink>
