I recently stumbled upon some quirky gummies at Fix Price while I was actually looking for some 3D marzipan and motti near the Bibirevo metro station. They were out of stock, but I spotted these gummy pierogies that caught my eye.

I scanned all my purchases at the self-service checkout.

When I got home, I laid everything out on the table and took some photos:

I've been trying out these gummies and sharing my thoughts. I decided to give the pierogies a shot, so I poured myself a hot cup of tea - if they tasted awful, at least I could wash them down.

These gummies are definitely unique - I've never seen anything like them. They look like pierogies on a round wooden board:

Each one is different in shape or type of closure - they're all handmade.

The ingredients list is full of E numbers, which isn't exactly healthy. I wouldn't buy these for kids, but I decided to give them a go anyway. They're just so unusual!

The jam is stiff, it's hard to chew. But if you squeeze it and then release it, it quickly takes its shape:

TASTE: It's sour, but at least not bitter, and no unpleasant aftertaste. You can drink it with tea, which is what I did, but it's not necessary.

But then, after I ate them all, something really weird and unpleasant started happening!

I got a rapid heartbeat that lasted for 5 hours! Luckily, it was a day off and I didn't have to leave the house. I won't be buying these 'dumplings' again, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Maybe it's just my body's reaction, and others won't experience the same thing, but I wouldn't recommend this to kids.

And I guess it's time to stop buying 'delicious' things from Fix Price, but I haven't bought anything new since I started testing these 5 purchases, and the next one on the list is the jam in sushi form...

I initially wanted to give this jam in the shape of dumplings 3 stars (only deducting for the ingredients and the excessive sourness), but no way! I'm giving it 1 star and wouldn't recommend it.
