Editor's Summary
As a parent, I'm always on the lookout for ways to give my kid a boost when it comes to their immune system, especially during flu season. I've tried various supplements, like multivitamins, zinc, and vitamin C, after consulting with our pediatrician. Recently, I gave Pectin-based chewable pastilles 'Mi-Mi Mice' with vitamin C and zinc a try, and here's my honest review. While they're a great value for money and have a delicious grape flavor that my kid loves, there are some major drawbacks to consider. I appreciate that the product is made with natural ingredients and no artificial preservatives, and the packaging is great, with a resealable container that keeps the pastilles fresh. However, I'm not a fan of the fact that the product contains pectin, which can be a problem for some kids with digestive issues. I've also noticed that the product can cause some stomach upset in my kid, especially if he takes too many at once. Overall, it's a decent option, but I'd recommend being cautious and monitoring your kid's response to the product.

Hello there, lovely readers!
I'm always on the lookout for ways to boost my kid's immune system, especially during flu season. So, I regularly give him vitamin supplements (after consulting with our pediatrician). Come autumn, winter, and early spring, this means multivitamins, zinc, and vitamin C - they really do give our little one's body a solid boost.

Pectin-based chewable pastilles Mi-Mi Mice with vitamin C and zinc, grape flavor
PACKAGING, COMPOSITION, PROPERTIES
The marzipan sweets are in a plastic container with a child-proof lid.
Under the lid, there's an aluminum foil membrane.
The mice look nice, with a sugary coating - they're tiny, though.
The composition and dosages are shown in the photo below:
These pectin-based chewable tablets with vitamin C and zinc in the shape of cute mice are gelatinous. Vitamin C boosts immunity and helps the body fight off infections and viruses. Zinc plays a crucial role in developing a strong immune system in kids. No artificial colors or flavors.I deduct points because there's some chemistry in the ingredients, which isn't ideal. I think they could've done a better job creating a supplement for kids aged 3 and above.
The mice-shaped chewables are no different from the ones you'd buy at the store. They're just barely sweet and not too sticky. They're sprinkled with sugar, and there's way too much of it at the bottom of the pack.
USAGE, DOSAGE
Kids aged 3-14 years can have 1 tablet, 2 times a day during meals. The course lasts for 1 month. If needed, you can repeat the course for a year.I gave my son 2 mice per meal, twice a day.
MY IMPRESSIONS
Last autumn, my kid got a cold. Our pediatrician prescribed a toxic antibiotic and some antiviral meds that didn't help my son at all. On top of that, we got a bunch of side effects from the meds, and we ended up in the hospital for observation for a few days. The thing is, my son's sore throat cleared up on the second day after we stopped taking all those meds. So, we were basically just in the hospital for observation, with no actual treatment prescribed, just some Regidron.
When my kid was sick, we had to pause the iron supplements, and that's when anemia started setting in - but that's a whole different story. The kid refused to eat because of a sore throat, which probably didn't help with some of the lab results either.
After being discharged, the doctors told us to eat more protein to boost the kid's hemoglobin and take multivitamins. By the way, we really liked this multivitamin complex, so after the kid fully recovered, we decided to add iron, vitamin C, and zinc in the form of fruit-flavored gummies. I was taking zinc myself during this period and realized that my kid needs it too to boost their immune system.
Mi-Mi Miski Immuno Chews with Vitamin C and Zinc Reviews What I love about Mi-Mi Miski Immuno with Vitamin C and Zinc: My kid has been practically immune to illnesses since we started giving him these chews. He used to get sick a few times a year, but now he's lucky if he gets a cold or flu once a year. I've seen his friends in school get sick multiple times, but he's always been fine. As a parent of an allergic child, I was worried about any potential side effects, but thankfully, there were none. No discomfort in his stomach or any other issues. I have to say, these chews are a game-changer for my kid. He loves the taste, and it's so much easier to get him to take his vitamins. He's not a fan of capsules or tablets, but these are a different story. He's always asking for them, and I'm happy to oblige! What I've noticed is that after a course of these chews, his immune system stays strong for at least six months. He's always been a bit of a healthy kid, but these chews have really taken his immunity to the next level.
Bad Mi-Mi Bears with Vitamin C and Zinc Reviews Now I'll share the downsides (and they're pretty significant for me):
First off, the supplement is made in China, and that's a major turn-off for me. I'd rather not support a company that prioritizes profits over quality. My kid sometimes gets nosebleeds due to weak blood vessels in his nose. Unfortunately, after taking Vitamin C, they didn't seem to get any stronger. I found the pastilles to be slightly astringent in taste, which is typical of zinc. It wasn't masked particularly well, but my kid loved the flavor - sweet, fruity, and not at all like grape.
At the time of purchase, the product card listed a Russian company, but it's actually made in China. I specifically bought this combo of C and zinc for kids, as it's hard to find on marketplaces, but later discovered a better Russian-made supplement in the same format of chewable bears.
Mi-Mi Bears Immuno Reviews The bears are easy to chew. The flavor is mild and fruity. My kid devours these bears with gusto. I think it's a good idea to consult with a pediatrician before giving your kid supplements like these.

Total Verdict
I wouldn't recommend these chewable pectin tablets, Mi-Mi Mice with vitamin C and zinc, even though they do support a child's immune system.
