I recently downloaded the Payeer wallet, but it turned out to be a total letdown. I was expecting something way better.
As soon as the app opened, I was greeted with this screen, which didn't exactly fill me with excitement.
PAYEER FAST PAYMENTS WORLDWIDE:
I created a new account since I wasn't registered with Payeer before, but the lengthy terms and conditions were a real eye-opener.
After clicking 'I agree,' I was presented with a bunch of confusing fields, including my account number, password, and secret code. It was a bit overwhelming, to be honest.
The app automatically filled in all the fields for me, which was nice, but I still changed my password right away - it's super easy to do, just click on it.
I also had to prove I'm not a robot by solving a math problem, which was a bit annoying.
The thing that really threw me off was the requirement to link my phone number - I found it weird that I had to make a call, even though they always call me, it should be as simple as entering the last digits of my number.
But, to my surprise, the call wasn't available, so I didn't have to deal with it.
What really got me was that there's no feature to transfer funds from Payeer to my own accounts or even my phone number - instead, you can trade, but not transfer. That's just ridiculous.
Needless to say, it's the most unnecessary app I've ever downloaded and immediately deleted.
I'm not going to recommend this app to anyone. It's just not worth the hassle.
