Ingredients
xa0
Meat and meat products - 37% (including fresh chicken meat and fresh beef), dried beet pulp, plant protein extract, salt, minerals, amino acids, dietary fibers, vitamins, calcium carbonate, salmon oil, L-carnitine.
As I always do, I'll go through the ingredients. I think the ingredients are the most important thing to consider in pet food.
I've got to say, the first thing that caught my attention was all the mysterious components I've come to love (plant-based protein extract, minerals, amino acids, dietary fiber, vitamins). The moment I see something not named specifically in the ingredients list, I get a little worried that the manufacturer is hiding something cheap and not so great for my pet.
The 37% animal protein content is a nice touch, but the ingredient itself is just as mysterious as the rest. Sure, it says there's fresh chicken and beef meat, which is great, but how much of it is actually there? And what else is hiding under the 'meat and meat ingredients' label?
Next up, salt. Now, salt is okay in small amounts as a food component, but it's definitely overdoing it here, given its high position in the list. No wonder my pet's been thirstier than usual after eating this stuff.
On the brighter side, not everything is a mystery – there are some straightforward ingredients listed (dried beet pulp, salt, calcium carbonate, salmon oil, L-carnitine). These are all good and healthy components for my pet's body (with the caveat about the salt, of course).
Overall, this isn't the worst ingredient list I've seen from pet food, but it's far from perfect either. It's definitely better than some of the low-end brands like Whiskas, Friskies, and Felix.

Packaging
xa0
The packaging is a pale pink color with a white cat on the front, along with an image of a dish with chunks of beef.
You can see the food info on the back of the packaging. I'll show you the ingredients up close too.
The packaging opens standardly, nothing new there. xa0
The Food
xa0
The food is covered in a generous amount of gel. The pieces are all different shapes and sizes, with both small and large chunks. They're a weird color, kind of brown-pink, and honestly, they look a bit like meat.
I was surprised by the smell of the food. It's not super strong like some other foods, and to me, it's actually kind of pleasant. Plus, it reminded me of some human food - I was trying to think of what it was for ages, and then I realized it smelled like a pâté or a stew.xa0
The Purr-fect Verdict from My Feline Friend
xa0
My cat took to this food right away, no hesitation or fuss. She's not usually picky, but she can be finicky sometimes, so I was happy to see her enjoy it so much.
I have to admit, I initially offered her three different wet food options from Miratorg (chicken in sauce, beef in jelly, and beef in another sauce – I'm not even sure which one it was). She ended up loving the chicken flavor the most, and I think it's because of the sauce. Although she's never really shown a preference for sauce over jelly, the ones with sauce just seem to have a more intense aroma that really draws her in.
In my opinion, the beef flavor comes in a close second. She seems to enjoy it, but she might get a bit tired of it after a few days. That's never happened with the chicken flavor, though. As for the beef flavor with beef in another sauce, she just doesn't take to it at all – it's one of the rare cases where she'll simply refuse to eat the wet food.
Fortunately, there were no allergic reactions or gastrointestinal issues. No vomiting, diarrhea, constipation – nothing out of the ordinary. And her stool didn't even change smell.
My thoughts as a pet owner
I'm not too thrilled about the uneven distribution of jelly in the packaging. I usually give her half a packet at a time, stretching it out for the whole day, but when I try to break it in half, it ends up being mostly jelly in the morning and mostly food in the evening. The morning portion is on the photo above, and the evening portion is below.
It's really annoying to get such different portions every time. I wish the jelly was more evenly distributed throughout the packet.I'm also a bit concerned about the ingredients. I mean, it's not the worst thing out there, but I'd love to see something better for the price, especially when you have multiple pets to feed.
I've got to remind you, if you're considering buying this food for your pet, that fresh water should always be available to your pet in sufficient quantities. It's a no-brainer, but especially important when your pet is on a high-sodium diet. It's not just about adding salt, but also making sure the water is at the right volume for your cat's needs.
I've got a funny story to share. I've noticed that this food is often sold damaged in supermarkets, even though it's still within its expiration date. I've bought it a few times at Perekrestok and my cat just wouldn't touch it, even though she's not picky. I offered it to other cats, and they refused it too. I had a similar experience with the food from Magnit: the expiration dates were fine, but my cat wouldn't eat it. Some of the packages were crushed, but not torn or pierced, while others looked perfect.
Based on my experience, I'd advise avoiding packets with stickers that have the expiration date written on them. It's just a red flag. And it's often these packets that end up being damaged.
So, I only buy Miratorg at Perekrestok, but even that's not ideal since it's not the closest supermarket to me.

My reviews of other wet cat foods:
Sheba Pleasure Duck Slices in Sauce - review here
FELIX with Salmon - review here
I've tried a bunch of different cat foods, but I wanted to share my thoughts on some of the ones I've used recently. The Perfect Fit wet food for sterilized cats with chicken pieces in sauce was a bit of a letdown for me. The flavor just wasn't that great, and my cat wasn't a huge fan either. On the other hand, I've had some good experiences with the Florida cat food with tuna and spinach pieces in sauce. The quality of the ingredients seemed pretty high, and my cat loved the taste. I've also tried the Miratork Winner full-rations chicken in sauce, and while it was okay, it wasn't the best value for money. Finally, I've had some good luck with the Grandin canned food for kittens. The tuna and egg combination was a hit with my cat, and the quality of the ingredients seemed pretty solid.
