My Hands-On Review of the Manly Pro No. 20 Multi-Tool Makeup Brush
Hello everyone! I've been loving using brushes to apply and blend foundation - they're so versatile. You can adjust the coverage, smooth out the tone, and then use them for cream contouring. I've been wanting to try out Manly Pro brushes for ages, and when I saw a sale on the Golden Apple website, I figured it was the perfect time.
They have a huge range of brushes for different purposes, and I was really drawn to this multi-functional one for foundation. So, the Manly Pro brush #20:

~GENERAL INFO~
Material - synthetic taklon fibers.Purpose - multi-functional, suitable for both cream and powder products.Price - 700-800 rubles, I got it on sale for 603 rubles on the Golden Apple website.Where to buy - GOODS, OZON, Golden Apple, Manly PRO.Manly Pro Brush #20Manly Pro Brush #20 arrived in a fancy cardboard box, and I got a brushguard in the package too. This little guy is a brush holder, essentially a protective mesh that's meant for drying and storing brushes. I'm lazy, so I just lay my brushes flat on a towel to dry – no need for extra fuss. The brushguard, on the other hand, is perfect for travel, keeping my brush safe from getting damaged in my makeup bag.Manly Pro Brush K20Manly Pro Brush K20The first thing that caught my eye when I unpacked it was the brush's size. It's about 3-4 cm longer than what I'm used to. The total length of the brush is 20.5 cm, and the length of the bristles is 3.5 cm.Manly Pro Brush K20At first, it was weird using it because of the longer handle, but I got used to it quickly. It feels nice in my hand, and the brush isn't heavy. The bristles are synthetic taklon, which is basically the synthetic equivalent of natural bristles. Synthetic brushes are more durable, which is a must for a brush that needs to be washed after every use – longevity is key in this case.Manly Pro Multi-Functional Brush #20One thing that really stood out to me about this brush is the design of the bristles. They're shaped like a semi-circular petal, and the bristle diameter is 3 cm. The texture is super soft, and it's actually really comfortable to touch your face with it - nothing irritates or tickles.
Manly Pro K20 Makeup BrushThe brush is densely packed, but it's also really flexible and pliable. The bristles bend easily in both directions without fluffing out. Applying foundation with this brush is a breeze and gets the job done quickly. Manly Pro #20 Makeup BrushManly Pro #20 Makeup BrushAs for how well it absorbs foundation, it's not super high-capacity - but that's actually a good thing. The downside is that it can be a bit of a pain to clean. I wash my brush after every use to prevent the foundation from building up and causing a streaky finish. I use a two-step process: first, I soak it in some hydrophilic oil, and then I wash it with soap. During my skincare routine, the brush doesn't shed or lose its bristles. When I leave it to air dry overnight, it's usually dry by morning - although it might be slightly damp if I washed it late at night due to its dense packing.I've been putting this brush through its paces, and I'm impressed with how well it handles different types of products. It's perfect for applying liquid foundation and cream-based products like my sculptor or bronzer. The shape of the brush allows for smooth, even distribution of the product on my cheekbones, forehead, and nose. I like that I can either tap the product directly onto my face or pick it up from the packaging with the brush.Manly Pro K20 BrushApplying foundation. The result is a smooth, even finish with no visible lines or sallowness. It's great for applying a light layer of foundation or building up coverage as needed.

It picks up the product nicely and allows for smooth, even distribution on my skin. I like that I can tap the product directly onto my face or pick it up from the packaging with the brush.
Applying cream sculptorManly Pro K20Applying powder or pressed products.I've also tried using the brush to apply powder or pressed products, and it works great due to its unique shape.
I wouldn't recommend this for bronzer or blush, though. The dense brush can lead to overloading with pigment, and I find it easier to work with less densely packed brushes for dry products.
~THE BOTTOM LINE~
It's super soft and a joy to use. The shape is really well-designed, making it easy to apply product evenly across the face. It doesn't leave any streaks or lines. The bristles stay in place and don't shed. It's fragrance-free. It's great for cream-based corrections or dry sculpting.
It's not the easiest to clean, but this is a common issue with dense brushes.
Manly Pro Brush #20I've really enjoyed using this brush - it does its job perfectly and is built to last. If you're looking for a tool for applying foundation or cream-based corrections, I think you'll be happy with the Manly Pro Brush #20. It's also great for travel, as you can use it to apply powder or blush, but for everyday use with dry products, I'd opt for more specialized brushes with less dense bristles.
