Mafia Gameplay Review: A Wild Ride with a Twist of Unfairness
Specifications
I'm no pro gamer, but I'm a sucker for open-world freedom, and Mafia delivers that in spades. Check out my review to see if it's the game for you.
Let's get one thing straight: this game is a real challenge. I'm talking complex missions, realistic car controls, and a whole lot of frustration when you get caught speeding or crashing. But that's what makes it so addictive, right?
One of the things that stood out to me was the desire for revenge. Thomas's eyes say it all - he's got a score to settle, and you'll feel his anger firsthand. The graphics are top-notch, with destruction on a massive scale. But be warned: the NPCs can be a real pain, and the cops are always on your tail.
Now, I know what you're thinking: 'Is this game suitable for non-gamers?' The answer is yes - if you love freedom and open-world gameplay, you'll have a blast. But if you're looking for a fair game, you might want to look elsewhere. The gameplay is complex, with a lot of missions and challenges, and the cops and bad guys always seem to have the upper hand.
That being said, the mods for this game are insane. I've installed Alive and Alive Bars Mod, and it's like a whole new game. The new missions and possibilities are endless, and I've even taken my squad out for a spin in 'walk mode' - it's hilarious.
