I've been meaning to write a review on this nebulizer for ages, but I just never got around to it. To be honest, I was a bit hesitant to buy it even when all my friends were raving about it during the pandemic. But we finally got our hands on it about 1.5 years ago, and I'm so glad we did. I've used it nonstop since then, and it's been a real lifesaver for me. My family has used it a few times, but I've been the one who's really put it to the test. I've been using it nonstop since I got sick with tonsillitis, and it's been a real lifesaver. Okay, so let's get started!
Nebulizer Compressor Nebulizer Little Doctor LD-220CSo, what's the point of this thing? Well, if you're someone who's always getting sick with colds, flu, or allergies, this thing is a total must-have. It's also super helpful for kids, because let's be real, getting them to use a neti pot can be a total nightmare. But this thing makes it so much easier. It's like a magic machine that makes your life so much easier. Okay, so let's dive in and talk about the actual nebulizer.xa0
About the Nebulizer

Name: Compressor Nebulizer LD-220CManufacturer: Little DoctorCountry: ChinaPrice: around 2000 rublesWhere to buy: marketplaces, pharmacies, or online directly from the manufacturer. I bought it on Ozon, and everything was fine, no complaints.Packaging: a cardboard box (I don't have it, I think they threw it away). But it was exactly like the one in these photos. The tube is long, and before using it, you need to blow air through it. But all the necessary instructions are in the manual - it's super easy.

From the manufacturer:The Little Doctor LD-220C Nebulizer is a modern medical device designed for treating and preventing various respiratory diseases. It works by creating a mist of medication using its built-in compressor, which is then inhaled through special tubes and masks. The device is designed to create different types of aerosols with particles of specific sizes, allowing the medication to target specific areas of the respiratory system. To switch between modes, simply attach one of the following nebulizers:
I've gotta say, the particle size options on this device are pretty cool. If you've got the yellow spray nozzle, the particles are 3.5 microns and it's mainly for the lower parts of your respiratory system. The blue spray nozzle is the all-around option, with 4.0 micron particles that cover all areas of your respiratory system. And if you've got the red spray nozzle, the particles are 5.0 microns and it's mainly for the upper parts of your respiratory system.
It's super important to talk to your doctor about which spray nozzle is right for you, so you can get the best treatment possible.
I've been using the Little Doctor LD-220C, and one of the things that really stands out is the activated inhalation nebulizer. The airflow paths for inhaling and exhaling are different, which means the medicine gets straight to your lungs on the inhale, and you don't waste any on the exhale.
Some of the other benefits of this nebulizer include:
It's super reliable and easy to useIt's also really budget-friendlyThe mode switch is really intuitiveIt's nice and quietAnd it's got that activated inhalation nebulizer featureYou've got to be careful with this device, though - you can't use it with medications that are oil-based or have particles in them.
Make sure you follow the instructions and only use it for what it's intended for.

MY THOUGHTS
xa0
I've got to admit, after the pandemic, I had this overwhelming urge to have a first aid kit at home for myself and my loved ones. I know it sounds a bit paranoid, but what can I say - we were really on our own during the pandemic. Doctors were on leave or in quarantine, hospitals were overflowing, and even with a severe case of pneumonia, they couldn't take us in. But thankfully, my mom needed treatment, and we were able to get her out of the house, and everything worked out. But the experience left a lasting impression.
It was during one of our conversations with friends that they highly recommended getting a nebulizer. It had been a lifesaver for them during the pandemic, and they'd even bought it for their little one, who ended up using it with the whole family. We got ours when someone in our household came down with a cough, and I'm not even sure who it was. But the nebulizer really helped. So when I got sick last spring, I didn't hesitate to add it to my treatment plan - lucky for me, it was already at home, just waiting for its turn.

HOW TO USE THE NEBULIZER, ASSEMBLY, PHOTO INSTRUCTIONSSo, all the attachments can be stored in this little pouch. It's made of a thick, synthetic material.
Nebulizer compressor Little doctor LD-220CThe nebulizer can be placed on a table or somewhere where it won't get in the way of sucking in air, because it collects air from the sides - that's the mesh thingy.
Little Doctor LD-220C NebulizerI like how the device is designed to prevent it from sliding around on the table due to the rubber grips at the bottom.
Little Doctor LD-220C NebulizerThe power cord is decently long, and the plug itself is sturdy.
Little Doctor LD-220C NebulizerThe on/off button is straightforward - no confusing multiple buttons here.
Little Doctor LD-220C NebulizerThe tube is uniform in diameter, with one end fitting into the device and the other end attaching to the nebulizer attachment.
Little Doctor LD-220C NebulizerAssembling the nebulizer attachment is pretty straightforward - just insert the desired attachment (blue, red, or yellow) into the plastic base, add the medication, and you're good to go. Of course, the amount of medication and type used will depend on your specific needs and doctor's recommendations.
Little doctor LD-220C Nebulizer To assemble it, you just screw on the top plastic piece like this.Little doctor LD-220C Nebulizer Then you just stick the tube in from the bottom.Little doctor LD-220C Nebulizer There's this little thing on the nebulizer itself where you can attach everything so it doesn't spill while you're setting it up. Then you just clip on the mask or other attachments from the top. Little doctor LD-220C Nebulizer I just put it on and sat down, breathing normally.
HOW I HEALED MY LARYNGIT I had laryngitis, my voice was almost gone, plus a nasty cold (like you don't get those in the spring?!).
To my surprise, my voice came back in just a couple of days. I was using the nebulizer three times a day, as instructed, and by the second day, I was feeling a lot better. I was just using regular saline solution, 5ml as instructed, with this blue universal attachment.
Little doctor LD-220C Nebulizer Compressor Inhaler I'm a total chatterbox, and getting my voice back is a huge deal for me. I had a week to get my act together - a big Zoom conference was looming, and just sitting there smiling wouldn't cut it. When my voice came back, even if it was a bit raspy, after a couple of days, it was amazing. By the end of the week, I was talking normally and could actually participate in the conference. I was basically babying my voice, trying not to strain it, drinking lots of warm water, and all that jazz. But in all honesty, the nebulizer was the real game-changer. It moisturizes the mucous membranes in both your nose and throat, making it so much easier to breathe. The key is to breathe calmly into it, as you would in real life. But if you start taking deep breaths, you might get a little dizzy.xa0
My Experience with TonsillitisI've had my fair share of weird health issues, but this spring I had a nasty case of tonsillitis. I knew something was up when I had a severe sore throat and a fever that refused to budge. A quick trip to the bathroom with a flashlight confirmed my suspicions. Luckily, my temperature wasn't too high, so I started with some saltwater gargling with furacilin and saw some improvement within a few days. However, my nose was a different story. It was completely congested, and I'm not sure if it was due to the tonsillitis or the fact that my mom-in-law's plants were blooming, triggering my allergies. Either way, my nose was a mess. There was barely any mucus, just a nasty swelling that made it hard to breathe. I could barely smell anything, even when I really sniffed. That's when I decided to bring in the big guns – my nebulizer. I used just saline solution, and I was blown away by the results. After the first treatment, I could smell again! It took me a week to fully recover, but by the end of it, my nose was back to normal – no congestion, no swelling. It was amazing!

Overall Impression: Pros and ConsI've gotta say, I'm a big fan of the red nasal mask - it's a total game-changer. The blue and yellow ones, not so much. I get a bit of a constricted chest feeling after using them, probably because my airways were super sensitive when I was testing them out while I was sick. I read that it might be because the mist is a bit too cool - it's coming out of the motor, after all. I tried warming up the saline solution before using it, just by soaking the syringe in some warm water. It made a big difference, and I actually preferred it when it was warm. Of course, by the end of the treatment, it does start to cool down a bit, but at least it's not freezing cold the whole time, and I feel a lot better. But with the red mask, I don't need to worry about any of that - it's specifically designed for upper airways.
Little Doctor LD-220C NebulizerI love how my mucous membranes get all nice and hydrated after using it. When I'm sick, my nose and throat get super dry - I end up breathing through my mouth instead of my nose, or using nasal sprays that just dry me out even more. But with this thing, it's like a breath of fresh air. Literally.
It's super convenient, too - you just sit there with the mask on and let it do its thing. Ten minutes (depending on what you're using it for and what your doctor says) and you're good to go. You can even scroll through your phone while you're at it - time flies when you're having fun.
I've found it really convenient that all I need is saline solution and I'm good to go - it's perfect for treating congestion or lingering coughs, for instance. Of course, I can add medication if my doctor prescribes it, but that's a different story. I've never had to use medication in this nebulizer before, but if I do, I'll definitely check with my doctor to see what they recommend adding to it.
The motor in this nebulizer hums along just fine, which is to be expected since it's a compressor-based model. What's more, it's actually one of the quieter ones I've come across. That being said, you only need to use it for 10 minutes at a time, and it's not like it's a huge inconvenience - some other models are even louder.
I really like the accessories that come with it - everything you need is included, whether you're using it for kids or adults. You don't need to buy anything extra, which is great. Plus, each component in the kit can be replaced individually, and the prices for additional masks, tubes, and attachments are pretty reasonable.
The only thing that's a bit of a pain is cleaning the mask and all the plastic parts after each use. But I guess that's just part of the deal.
xa0
That's my take on it
I've gotta say, this nebulizer is a game-changer. It helped me out big time when I had laryngitis, tonsillitis, and a stuffy nose. My sister used it to help with her cough as part of her treatment, and my asthma-suffering friend swears by it too. I know people with allergies swear by nebulizers as well. What I love is that it doesn't leave my mucous membranes feeling dry like some other meds and sprays do – it actually leaves them feeling nice and moisturized. Plus, it's super affordable and lasts a long time, so we can all use it in the household. And let's be real, breathing in a nebulizer is way more pleasant than trying to clear out your sinuses with a neti pot. When you're coughing, it's a total lifesaver. And the best part? You can even use it when you've got a fever. This thing is modern and its effectiveness is a no-brainer.
xa0
I highly recommend it – it's an amazing and reliable product!
Thanks for reading, and happy shopping to everyone! Take care of yourselves and your loved ones!
