Meet our little zoo! We've got two older family members, and then there's Koshak, our lovable new addition who's taught us to appreciate the little things in life - like a good nap in a cardboard box.
Then, disaster struck, and all three of our pets got sick at the same time. I was up all night taking care of them, feeding, and walking them. It was a tough time, but we didn't know what to do. We have a universal recipe for our dog, but what about our cats?
My husband came back from the vet with some boxes, and one of them was Lactoferrin. It's suitable for both cats and dogs, which was a huge relief.
We gave them the tablets twice a day - in the morning and at night. To our surprise, the cats took them better than our dog. Our dog is a bit of a trickster - she pretends to eat them, but then spits them out. Oh well, at least she ate the second dose.
I have to say, things started to get back to normal the next day after giving them the medication. And the best part? Our biggest and greediest cat even lost some weight!
I figured out the problem was with the food. That specific brand of food was the culprit behind the mess. I noticed it when I saw my cats eating the same food and a stray dog coming in would lick their bowls. Talk about a triple threat!
We removed the food from their diet, but as soon as it came back, the cats had another explosive episode. And I had a crappy day.

You need to give the tablets to your pets for at least 5 days, but ideally 10.
We combined them with another supplement called Ceamax. This is a powder, and it's similar to our bifidumbacterin.
Together, these two supplements helped us tackle the issue. We're victorious, folks! We conquered three liquid stools at once.
