I'm a total sweet-tooth, and I love trying out new treats every time I hit the shops. This time, I was browsing for something to have with my tea when my eyes landed on this bright box.

Where I bought it: a shop near my place.
The manufacturer positions themselves as a supplier of natural chocolate for kids, and at first glance, the ingredients don't look too bad.
The packaging is seriously impressive - I'd give it five stars. It's bright, colorful, and eye-catching, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Every detail, from the cardboard box with a window to the wrapping on each chocolate, has been thought out.
Each chocolate has its own unique design depending on the flavor, but they all fit together thematically.
The chocolates are wrapped in illustrated foil and attached to a small cardboard backing.
On each backing, we can see the flavor of the chocolate and a little message.
There are four flavors in total, and you can check out all the flavors before you buy the box of candies (they have different variations of sets depending on the design).
The thing that matters most to me is that there's no coffee flavor (the box has pandas or rabbits on it, so if you're like me and it's a big deal, I recommend checking the flavors in the packaging before you buy).
I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with the uneven number of candies - I get that it's not always possible to have an exact number, but they claimed there were four flavors, and in the end, two flavors dominated, and I only got one caramello-flavored candy.
The packaging also includes a small gift - a sheet of thick paper with a coloring on one side and instructions on the other to bring it to life.
I also appreciate the fun design of the candies with the company's initials on them.
I was a bit surprised by the size of these candies - they're not huge, but they're a nice, even milk color. The filling inside depends on the flavor, and it's not runny, so you can crunch away without worrying about it spilling out. Here's what the pistachio one looks like:

I decided to try one myself before giving them to my kid, since they're marketed as a kid-friendly snack.
Taste: I have to say, I was expecting more, but the mojito flavor was a total miss for me - it tasted like plastic, and the filling wasn't really noticeable. It doesn't melt in your mouth, either. My mom tried one and asked why I bought palm-based candies. She's a total sweet tooth, but she said she won't be having them again.
The strawberry one was a bit more interesting, and I could actually taste the filling. I couldn't really evaluate the coconut one, since my husband said it was just 'meh' - and there was only one of those in the pack, anyway. After trying the mojito and strawberry, I wasn't really in the mood for more.
The Verdict:
I loved the packaging, but the taste was a total letdown. The designers get an A+, but the chocolate quality was lacking - and considering the mojito flavor makes up half the pack, it's not really worth it. The price isn't bad, but it's still candies, and even with the fancy packaging, it's what's inside that counts. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.
