This Korean-made face mask was picked up at a friend's place, and I got it for 50 rubles on sale, which is a steal since it usually costs around 100 rubles.

Appearance

The packaging is quite eye-catching, with a bold toxic green color, a bulky sachet, and an illustration of a capsule with a pattern on it that spills out when you open it.

Convenient ridges on both sides make it easy to open the sachet.

The back has a Russian-language sticker with a glowing review, while the ingredients list is on the main packaging in English.

What's inside

The sachet opens smoothly with just one motion, which I appreciate.

When I opened the packaging, I was impressed by how neatly the sheet mask was folded and soaked in serum.

It doesn't leak all over your hands, but it's definitely well-saturated.

There's still some serum left over for your neck and décolletage area.

I have to admit, I'm not really sure what the sheet mask smells like, thanks to COVID taking away my sense of smell.

The sheet itself is pretty dense and elongated, with a bit of a weird design at the base of the nose.

Using the mask

Before applying the mask, I make sure to clean my face with a gentle cleanser and pat it dry.

Then, I apply a toner to prepare my skin.

I use a regular toner that doesn't affect the mask's performance, so I can see how well it works.

After the toner dries, I apply the sheet mask itself.

As someone with a narrow face, I have to fold the mask in half on my cheeks.

Even with the adhesive being pretty tight, it's still a risk for wrinkles.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the mask stayed in place along the hairline and around my eyes.

Leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes - that's enough time to catch up on some reading.

I didn't experience any negative sensations during the treatment - no burning, stinging, or discomfort.

Then I remove the adhesive, which is still pretty wet.

I massage the remaining essence into my skin, using gentle strokes - but I like to give it a bit more oomph and really work it in.

Results

The first thing that really impressed me was that there were no wrinkles at all - just a tiny bit on my cheek, and that's being picky.

The liquid didn't fully absorb into my skin, leaving a light, tacky residue.

No greasy sheen, but it didn't fully dissipate even after a few hours - I could still feel it on my skin.

I'm not a fan of the sticky residue.

No redness or allergic reactions occurred, but I did notice some tightness that lasted for a while.

Visually, I didn't see any noticeable improvements.

After using this serum and this cream, my skin looks way more appealing than after this mask.
