Cleaning can be a real pain when you don't have the right tools. I mean, who wants to scrub away with baking soda all day? It's so last century. But I've found a solution that makes cleaning a breeze. I've been relying on Grass for my cleaning needs, and it's been a lifesaver. Their products have a strong scent, but one of my favorites is the Gloss. I love that it's easy to use and gets the job done.
I live in an area with hard water, thanks to our central water supply and private wells. We even have a well on our property, and when we tested the water, the hardness level was right on the edge – 10. We use a reverse osmosis system for drinking water, but for everything else, it's a different story. I have to clean my sink, toilet, and shower floor often to prevent mineral buildup. It's not a huge deal, but it's something to keep an eye on. At least we don't have to worry about rust – our pipes are PEX, and that's one less thing to worry about.
I've got a stainless steel sink in my kitchen, so I'll be using that for my cleaning demonstration. I usually clean it about once a week. I'll show you before-and-after photos and share everything I know about the product. Let's get started!

My Impressions
I've known Grass for a long time, and we've been buying their products for years. We've tried different ones, some are okay, some aren't. Their heavy-duty cleaner for ovens and stoves is powerful, but it has a really strong smell. But that's to be expected from a strong chemical. Although, they do have milder products that clean just as well. Their eco-friendly option is actually quite good.
But I really like the Gloss for removing efflorescence. It's got a smell, but it's not as harsh. Plus, it's a pretty gentle formula, so you can use it on most surfaces without damaging them. If it's safe for acrylic surfaces, that says something.
But you'll see the effect for yourself. Since I've got a kitchen sink, that's where I've got most of the efflorescence and tea stains. Here's what it looks like before.
Here's the 'before' photo.
Anti-Grout Grass Gloss: A Sparkling Clean and Shine RevivalI've been using it for a week now, and my sink looks almost new. The stainless steel is a plus, as it's super easy to clean. However, it does scratch a bit, which is a bummer. But I'm not too fussed about that, as long as there aren't any etching marks. I've also got a nasty habit of disliking etched sink handles - ugh, what a pain.
To be honest, I usually use a pumice stone or baking soda to clean it, but that requires some elbow grease. I want it to be a quick, effortless process like the ads promise. Plus, I just got a new manicure, and I don't want to ruin it.
So, I put on some gloves - a must, since the product contains acid and my hands will dry out otherwise. I apply the product, and the sprayer is really good - it doesn't clog easily. You can lock the sprayer when not in use. It produces a strong stream that's slightly dispersed. It's really convenient to apply the product without getting it all over the place - easy to control. Over time, the sprayer doesn't break, and it usually works flawlessly until the end, which is a plus.
I usually give it a quick spray and then spread it evenly with a cloth. And that's it - just a 5-minute wait.
Grass Gloss anti-lime scale and rust on acrylic surfacesI used a scouring pad to wipe down the sink, and then threw it away - it's time to replace those things anyway.
And voila, the sink is clean!
Grass Gloss anti-lime scale and rust, the number one productThe lime scale comes off a bit slower than the rust, but it still comes off pretty quickly. And the lime scale is easy to remove altogether. Of course, if it's been sitting there for a while, you might need to let it sit for a bit longer or give it a bit of a scrub. But based on my experience cleaning the shower, where the lime scale is always a bit of a problem, Grass has been able to dissolve it all pretty quickly. The final result is pretty impressive:
Grass Gloss quick help with lime scaleGrass Gloss anti-lime scale and rustEverything is sparkling and shining. It's beautiful! Just like the ads say, it's easy to get a clean and tidy surface without having to scrub too hard. And the product itself is easy to rinse off, without leaving any streaks or residue behind. This is a big plus compared to some other products I've used, like Pemolyuk, which always seems to leave behind some kind of residue. I'm not saying I have anything against Pemolyuk - it's a great product and I use it all the time. But for surfaces like this, I think something with a bit of acid would be a better option - it's faster, easier, and less effort.
I was blown away by how easily it removes lime scaleIt works super fastI love that I can use it on different surfacesEven works great on acrylicThe sprayer is super convenientIt lasts a long timeIt's super affordableThe smell isn't overpoweringIt's widely available in many storesCons:

My Verdict:
I highly recommend this cleaning solution - it's a game-changer for removing lime scale. With it, cleaning becomes a breeze and actually enjoyable. Yeah, you'll need to wear gloves, but in no time, your sinks and faucets will be sparkling clean. It even gives stainless steel a nice shine, and let's not forget about the tile - it's like a work of art!
I'm a huge fan of Grass Gloss - it's my go-to cleaning solution!
