Hello everyone!
I'm super excited to share my thoughts on using the Geltex Restoring NMF protection cream
xa0
Volume: 30ml (although you can now buy 50ml straight away)Country: RussiaShelf life after opening: 6 monthsxa0
Packaging: a white plastic bottle with a pump. The design is in line with the brand's style: all products have a colored stripe indicating the series
It comes without a box, so all the essential information is on the sticker. You can find the description, ingredients, shelf life, and contact details there
Here's what the manufacturer says about their product
Restoring NMF protection cream is perfect for the cold season and when using retinol in your skincare routine. It's also great for dealing with the aftermath of flights, hot weather, and dry air in air-conditioned spaces. It arrives without a box, but there's a protective sticker on the bottle to prevent tampering
The dosing system is a vacuum pump, which is indicated by the small hole at the bottom of the cream. This allows the vacuum to work efficiently. This type of dosing system minimizes the cream's contact with the air
Throughout my time using the cream, the pump has never let me down or broken

Ingredients
water, isononyl isononanoate, glycerin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, glyceryl stearate citrate, shea butter, hydroxyethyl urea, betaine, squalane, aluminum octenylsuccinate, sodium PCA, sorbitol, serine, glycine, glutamic acid, alanine, lysine, arginine, threonine, proline, hexyldecanol, bisabolol, cetearyl proprionic acid, stearic acid, phytosteryl rapeseed oil, C12-16 higher fatty acids, palmitic acid, hydrogenated lecithin, cetearyl alcohol, vitamin E (tocopherol acetate) acrylate sodium, sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate copolymer, disodium EDTA, hydroxyacetophenone, 1,2-hexanediol, caprylyl glycol, fragrance.First, I've got to say that this cream has a rich and effective formula. The key components include:
Ceramides - they improve the skin's barrier function, hydrate, and boost its elasticity.Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) - essentially the base that's responsible for hydrating and restoring the skin.Prodew 400 amino acid complex - it provides powerful protection for dehydrated and sensitive skin against damaging factors that cause prolonged dehydration, and it effectively retains moisture in the epidermis for 12 hours.Shea butter - a non-comedogenic oil that hydrates, nourishes, and rejuvenates the skin, neutralizes redness and flakiness, and boosts the skin's resistance to UV rays.Vitamin E - it enhances the skin's protective properties and stabilizes the cream's formula.Biofilic H - a natural lamellar emulsifier that restores the skin's protective barrier.xa0
Color: white, rich
Consistency: creamy, medium density
Smell: floral, light, and subtle. It disappeared within a week of opening. This caught me off guard. Geltek usually doesn't add fragrances to their products, but they made an exception here. I'm willing to forgive them because the scent was incredibly delicate and non-irritating.

Usage
Apply evenly to clean skin on the face, neck, and décolletage, and massage in until fully absorbed.I used this cream every day, morning and night.

A little about my skin:
I have combination skin with sensitive areas.I'm prone to clogged pores (thanks to my skincare mistakes).I often get dehydrated.I use acids and retinol in my skincare routine every day.xa0
My overall impression
Let's get this out of the way – I've repurchased this cream three times. I just love it that much.
xa0
ApplicationIt's super comfortable to apply, and the cream glides smoothly even on dry skin. I prefer to apply it to damp skin, though.
xa0
Post-application feelingsI hate it when creams leave a greasy residue or make my skin feel like it's in a sauna. The Geltex Restoring NMF Protection cream behaves well, though – no greasy feel, no 'sauna effect'. It absorbs quickly, doesn't leave any residue, and doesn't pull on my skin.

SeasonalitySpring and autumn are my favorite times to use this cream. It's a bit too rich for summer, and not rich enough for winter. For me, it's a 'demiseasonal' cream.
xa0
EffectivenessIn short, it's all about restoration. This cream has helped me tackle the aftermath of my overzealous use of actives.
I was struggling with dryness from the acids, dermatitis from the retinol, and flakiness from the acidic vitamin C – but the Geltex Restoring NMF Protection cream has been a game-changer. I use it in combination with my serum and toner, of course.
Check out the before-and-after pics:
As you can see, my skin reacted badly to the increased retinol percentage – flakiness, redness, and increased sensitivity. But with a solid skincare routine and this cream, I was able to get rid of all that.

Value for moneyIt's a moderate-sized jar, and I find that 30ml lasts me around 2.5 to 3 months.

Allegies, pores, irritationNo allergic reactions for me.No clogged pores. No irritation on sensitive areas.I'm absolutely loving the Geltek Restoring NMF protection cream. I'd highly recommend it to anyone dealing with dehydration or barrier disruption. It's been a game-changer for my skin, helping to restore its natural balance and undo any damage from harsh products. The cream glides on smoothly, leaving no residue or discomfort on my skin.
