Gardenica Fruit Caramels Fabric Softener

I've tried a bunch of fabric softeners, but Gardenica's Fruit Caramels really stand out. This stuff is a game-changer for everyday laundry - it leaves your clothes smelling like a sweet mix of fruits, which is a total breath of fresh air for your wardrobe. The scent is subtle, but it lasts all day, so you don't have to reapply it constantly.

My Disappointing Experience with Gardenica's Caramel Fruits Laundry Freshener

summarizeEditor's Summary

I was really looking forward to trying Gardenica's Caramel Fruits laundry freshener, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The scent is overpowering and not what I'd call pleasant. The price of around 180 rubles seems a bit steep for the quality you get. I bought it at Auchan, and the 750 ml bottle is made in Russia. I stored it in a dry, cool place, just like the instructions said. The packaging is eco-friendly, but the design could be improved - the bottle is too slippery, and I found myself fumbling with it a lot. On the bright side, the plastic is recyclable, which is a definite plus.

Hello there, fellow readers,
I'm always on the lookout for a good laundry freshener, and I've tried my fair share of them. The latest one I've been using is the Gardenica 'Caramel Fruits' laundry freshener.
I'll share my thoughts on it below.xa0
THE BASICS.

ABOUT THE PACKAGING.
xa0
The plastic bottle is green, made from 2HDPE plastic, so it's recyclable. I'm not a fan of the design, though - it's a bit too slippery, and I find myself fumbling with it a lot. On the side, there's a slightly textured surface, but I'm not sure what it's supposed to do.
The cap is plastic and designed like a dispenser, holding 50 ml of the freshener. It's a decent size, but I wish it was a bit more secure.
ABOUT THE FRESHENER.
xa0
The liquid freshener has a weak, somewhat chemical aroma. To be honest, I was expecting something more exciting from the 'caramel fruits' scent, but it's just a generic, fruity smell without any real sweetness.
It's a simple design, and for me, the aroma is a crucial aspect of a laundry freshener - it should leave a pleasant scent on my clothes. Unfortunately, this one falls short, and the smell is too weak to be noticeable.
The freshener is very liquidy, so I end up using more than the recommended amount to get a decent scent. But even then, it's just not there. It's a shame, because it does leave a sense of freshness and lightness on my clothes, but the aroma is just too weak.I also tried using it to eliminate unpleasant odors, like the smell of food on kitchen towels. Unfortunately, it didn't do a great job, as it only partially masked the smell, leaving some lingering behind.
xa0
As for softening my clothes, I didn't notice any significant difference. It's business as usual when washing towels, with no special benefits. Maybe it's supposed to protect against wrinkles?
xa0
I was really looking forward to trying this laundry freshener, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations in many areas. The packaging is a bit flimsy, the aroma is too weak, and it didn't do a great job of eliminating unpleasant odors. And at 180 rubles for 750 ml, I think it's overpriced. So, I'm giving it 3 out of 5 stars.

Thanks for reading!
