I recently got hooked on a new show by Ivlev, and I'm still reeling from the experience. Although I'm new to the program, I'm glad I checked it out since there are already many similar shows on Rutube.
This was my first time watching the show, and I'm really glad I gave it a shot.
After watching the program, I read the reviews here and was surprised by the huge number of negative reviews. I personally loved the show, so I'll tell you more about it.
Plot
Two teams, the red and blue ones, show up at Ivlev's restaurant, just like always - each team has five people. But these aren't professional chefs, they're just regular people who happen to be good cooks.
Ivlev teaches them how to cook a few restaurant-style dishes beforehand, and they're pretty simple but still delicious and nicely presented.
The restaurant is divided into two sections, one for the blue team and the other for the red team.
The whole point of the show is to feed your guests quickly and deliciously. The team that manages to do it faster gets to take home all the cash at the end of the day.
Both the red and blue teams have a special guest star with their families, and they share their thoughts on the dishes.
What I Liked
I loved the concept that anyone who can cook decently can prepare restaurant-quality food and make it look great. It's not just about following a recipe, but about presentation and timing.
I also appreciated that not every team leader can be a head chef, and they have to distribute tasks wisely. Kitchen work is a team effort, and the speed and quality of one person's work can make or break the entire team's performance.
What I Didn't Like
Ivlev's signature move of throwing food is still in full swing, and it's not just the food that's getting tossed - the plates are too. I get it, it's all part of the show, but why do they have to smash the plates? You can't even salvage the dishes!
Verdict
Full House is an entertaining show to watch, and it's great that you can pick up some simple yet tasty recipes. Ivlev may be a bit more subdued here compared to his other shows, but it's still a fun watch.
This episode with Ivlev was my favorite so far.
