I have to say, the packaging is quite small, only 454g. I was hesitant to buy a large pack after one of my cats had a bad reaction to another FORZA10 food, so I opted for smaller packs to ensure freshness.I want to clarify that my cat isn\'t overweight, but she is currently dealing with a fatty tissue tumor, so I chose this food for its lower fat content. I also prefer this brand because it\'s primarily made from anchovies, which my cat loves. Unfortunately, most other fish-based foods we\'ve tried have caused an allergic reaction, like Primordial.

Unfortunately, the packaging doesn\'t come with a resealable clip, so I have to transfer the food to a separate container to keep it fresh and prevent moisture and odors from affecting the kibble.

The outer packaging was undamaged, with air inside, and when I opened it, I was greeted with a pleasant fishy smell, and the food was dry, so if they send you damaged packs, it\'s better to reject them right away

daylight The food pellets are pretty dark, dense, and medium-sized, with no air pockets, and they clean my cat\'s teeth perfectly

I tried it out myself before giving it to the cat - personally, I didn\'t like it, super concentrated, anchovies like the ones they sell in little jars as a snack - you won\'t eat many of them, but not salty like the fish in oil, though the cat 🐈 drank it up afterwards and then literally rolled around in it 😡 You can see green hearts in the food, I\'ll show you closer 👇🏻👇🏻 they\'re significantly denser than the food pellets, the taste is weird, like some sort of herbal powder, the cat ate them reluctantly, but there are only a few in the bag

Shantel ate this food in small portions, ate up quickly, then drank a lot and went to the bathroom a lot: it\'s putting a strain on her kidneys, if your pet has any issues with their urinary system - it\'s better not to buy this food ☝🏻 Since the food is mostly rice and lacks grains and corn altogether, I started seeing constipation issues: the cat 🐈 was leaving little presents all over the apartment, like a rabbit, that would come out on their own 😬 I gave her special paste to help her go to the bathroom, as the poop was super hard ❗️ But she ate the food with enthusiasm, without any vomiting or gas afterwards, it was absorbed really well 🤎 The main thing is that she liked it and ate it, not just sniffed it and walked away, because I\'m really worried about her health, I\'m stressed, I don\'t sleep well .. I try to make her happy and meet her needs, I can sacrifice 😻 My cat does whatever she wants at home: sleeps, sits, and plays wherever she wants - no restrictions ❗️ My cat doesn\'t climb up the curtains or blinds, doesn\'t rip apart furniture - my friend has expensive leather furniture at home, I\'ve never had anyone tell me that my cat has ruined anything: the salon in the car or the couch, or why she\'s sitting on the table 😬 because they all know my well-behaved Shantel and my reaction .. the words that could hurt me 🥺Now that Shantel\'s lost a significant amount of weight, it\'s probably because we switched to this more diet-friendly food - it\'s not fatty at all, and maybe it\'s because the tumor is sucking everything out of her body... we\'re not ready for surgery yet, so there are good reasons for that. The fact that Shantel\'s still alive is the most important thing for me - she\'s here, and I don\'t want to risk putting her in the hands of questionable people.

The FORZA10 Weight Control Active dry cat food contains:

L-Carnitine (often found in premium imported foods)

Naturally occurring, naturally produced substance in the liver and kidneys, made from amino acids. L-Carnitine is then transported to other tissues and organs.

Helps the body produce energy. It transports fatty acid molecules to mitochondria - special structures within cells where fats and other organic substances are oxidized and converted into adenosine triphosphate (ATP) - molecules that store and transport energy throughout the body.

L-Carnitine is produced in the body, but it can also be obtained from food and supplements. Main food sources include meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products. Beef contains the most L-Carnitine, with around 95mg per 100g of product.

The kidneys are a vulnerable area for many artificially bred breeds, so it\'s not necessary to give them a food rich in all necessary vitamins and minerals, and supplements, at the same time and constantly.

It\'s one of the safest dietary supplements, with minimal harm and rare side effects. However, significant exceeding of the maximum daily dose and prolonged use can have a negative impact on kidney function. It\'s not recommended to use carnitine during hemodialysis.

DL-Methionine

Methionine is an amino acid that serves as a carbamoyl phosphate synthetase 2 aminomethyltransferase. It\'s one of the essential components for protein synthesis and other vital metabolic processes in the body. Methionine is considered an essential amino acid, which the body can\'t synthesize and must obtain through diet. This amino acid plays a crucial role in muscle development, tissue repair, collagen formation, and choline synthesis. Methionine is also a precursor to other important molecules, such as creatine, carnitine, and glutathione.

We regularly eat eggs and meat, and occasionally consume full-fat yogurt and sour cream. For my cat, I buy acidophilus or snijnek because I\'m allergic to milk protein.
