Fairy's Hidden Gem: A Surprising Use for Fairy on My Boat - But Lemon Fans May Be Disappointed

summarizeEditor's Summary

Fairy's a staple in many homemaker's pantries, and for good reason. It's the only gel that really works under cold water, making it a lifesaver when you've got a sink full of greasy dishes. However, I've found that it's not the best choice for washing dishes, especially if you're looking for an eco-friendly option. I mainly use it for cleaning kitchen surfaces, tiles, and other things that don't come into contact with food. I'm surprised by its value for money, considering how well it cuts through grease and grime. Plus, it's easy to find in most supermarkets and online.

Hello everyone!
If I asked any homemaker what their go-to dish soap is, most would say Fairy.
I'm not surprised - Fairy is indeed the best. There's nothing quite like it when you've got a sink full of greasy dishes. It's the only gel that really works under cold water.
Another thing is that Fairy is just as effective as it is non-eco-friendly. How many people are afraid to use it because of studies that say the gel can't be fully rinsed off? And for dishes, that's a big deal - our health isn't designed to handle regular doses of harsh chemicals.
That's why I mainly use Fairy for cleaning kitchen surfaces, tiles, and other things that don't come into contact with food. But occasionally, I do use it for washing dishes. However, this is extremely rare, because I mostly use a dishwasher, and I prefer more eco-friendly gels.
Name: Fairy Citrus Burst
Volume: 900 ml
Price: 200 rubles
Ingredients:
5-15% anionic surfactants, < 5% non-ionic surfactants, preservatives, fragrances, geraniol
Appearance:
I think everyone's used to the shape I pour Fairy into. This bottle hasn't changed in years - the same plastic, the same sleek design.
The dosing cap with a small flip-top lid. The design of the stickers changes depending on the fragrance.
Consistency and color.
I was blown away by how thick and concentrated this gel is - it's way more so than any other Fairy product I've tried, and even compared to other brands.
The color is vibrant, bright, and yellow.
Scent - it's got a slightly fruity-citrusy vibe, but don't expect it to be super lemony. There's barely any citrus in this formula. So, if you're a fan of citrus scents, you'll be disappointed.
Foam formation - this is one area where Fairy really excels. The foam is thick, dense, and plentiful - sometimes even too plentiful! I end up using a lot of water and multiple rinse cycles to get it all off.
Cleaning power is seriously impressive - this stuff tackles greasy dishes, pots, and pans with ease, and even gets the job done under cold water.
After using Fairy, my dishes are sparkling clean and smell like a fresh lemon.
However, I do have to mention that this stuff is super sticky and can be a real pain to rinse off. There's a risk that some residue might be left behind, which is why I prefer to use gentler cleaners that might not be as effective but are easier to clean up.
I've been impressed with how well Fairy handles stuck-on grease on my kitchen exhaust fan, and it even freshens up my furniture.
The gel is great at cleaning grime off many surfaces, including doors and washable wallpaper.
Overall, it's a fantastic cleaner for any type of grime and grease.
I've even heard of people using Fairy in a non-traditional way - for river navigation. A friend invited me to go on a boat ride, and when the fuel started running low, he pulled up to a water-based refueling station. After refueling, some fuel spilled into the water, and the station employee sprayed Fairy on the oil spill, and it disappeared instantly.
He did this because water-based refueling stations are fined for oil spills.
It's pretty obvious that if Fairy can dissolve gasoline spills, it's also great at tackling household grease.
That's why I always make sure to wear gloves when using Fairy. I don't want to lose my natural lipid layer!
When I used the gel without gloves, I noticed how dry my hands got. No surprise there!
My Verdict.
Fairy's Lemon Gel is amazing at removing grease and grime. It has a thick, rich lather and some serious cleaning power.
The scent is pleasant, although it's not what I expected.
Still, it's a great, multi-purpose cleaner.
I highly recommend it!
Cleaning gel for 79 rubles. Impressed and conquered. Even outperformed similar, more expensive products. Acrylic, chrome, and ceramics shine!
After using the EasyGo Pro for a week, I was blown away by the value for money. The price point is super competitive, and you get a ton of features that other brands charge extra for.
The EasyGo Pro has been my go-to device for daily commutes, and I've been impressed by the ease of use. The interface is super intuitive, and I was able to figure out how to use it in no time.
One thing that's really stood out to me is the customer support. I had a question about the return policy, and I got a response within hours. The team was super helpful and made the process seamless.
I'd definitely recommend the EasyGo Pro to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable device. It's been a game-changer for my daily routine, and I'm confident it'll do the same for you.
