My Epic Fail with This Tour Operator
I'm still fuming about how this tour operator messed me and my family around. We booked our trip months in advance and specifically told the agent about our flight times. We were willing to pay extra for an early flight, but we chose a more convenient time and were really looking forward to it.
But then, three days before our departure, we got a surprise: our flight had been changed. Instead of flying at 8:15 PM on June 6th, we were now flying at 8:55 AM. And to make matters worse, our return flight had also been changed, from 1:55 PM to 3:25 PM. That last day was basically ruined.
The tour agent kept blaming the airline, Azur, but they claimed everything was fine and told us to contact the tour operator. Meanwhile, the tour operator was saying that our flight didn't even exist and had been cancelled. It's crazy that we had to discuss our flight times in advance if they're just going to change them at the last minute.
I also want to mention that some friends of ours booked a similar tour with a different operator and had no issues whatsoever. They were able to fly at the time they had chosen, and everything was smooth sailing.
I'm truly sorry that I didn't do my research and ended up with this terrible tour operator. We had to spend extra time and money to change our flights, which was super frustrating. I'll make sure to warn everyone I know to avoid them at all costs.
